  2. So, of I understand the article correctly, this is an example of the lingering effects of the Coronavirus....
  3. Correct. If you listen carefully, you can hear them scream when you slice them or drop them in a pot of boiling water or vegetable oil.
  4. Odds have the Jeffersons at +700?? Then, how about the Washington Weezies??
  5. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.... Deadly rabbit virus nicknamed 'bunny ebola' spreading rapidly across southern US https://www.yahoo.com/news/deadly-rabbit-virus-nicknamed-bunny-164601686.html
  6. Saw the same thing driving by two ER Clinics in west Houston Saturday. People may be actually getting the message this thing is real and not over yet.
  7. So, if the Kansas State football players aren't going to participate in the games, ok...I'm good with that. Buh-bye. Don't forget to write... So, the topic now shifts to which team do we want to recruit to the Big 12 to replace them.
  8. They didn't lose the war....they just ran out of time.....
  9. I'd go just to see if the Oilers jacket is for sale.... (too soon??)
  10. Thank you so much @whithou. This is exactly what I and others are looking for. Can't put this type information into graphs and spreadsheets. More people need to know what is going on behind the scenes to really understand the devastating effects of this virus, not only with patients, but with healthcare workers such as yourself. Please come back and post as often as you like. Please use your CAPS to yell and scream your frustrations. We really appreciate your dedication to your patients and the healthcare industry and certainly appreciate your insights.
  11. Thank you for the information. For me, this type of information from someone like yourself who is working the front lines is MUCH BETTER than ciphering the daily stats. Please come back and let us know more what you are seeing. I appreciate your assessments, thoughts and opinions. Thank you for the work you are going. Please stay safe.
  12. I thought the dry conditions associated with the Saharan dust entering the Gulf in a couple days was supposed to snuff that out??
  13. I read an article that suggested now, the virus is less-potent than it was earlier this spring, and could even disappear on its own. Many of you may have read the same thing. Not sure I'm in this camp yet. https://en.as.com/en/2020/06/22/latest_news/1592820578_587344.html
  14. With shutdown success evaporated, model suggests mid-July peak for COVID-19 in Houston https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/houston/article/With-shutdown-success-evaporated-model-suggests-15358664.php
  15. Agree with this. At this point, testing may have a smidgen to do with the increase, but the biggest increase are from people still not taking this seriously, or think the worst is behind us. While some people are still not wearing masks, I have now seen people wearing face shields. I'm tired of this crap too. But we can't let our guard down.
  16. We just need to nuke China's wet markets now while we have the chance. Sneak in at night wearing Indian robes or something.
