  1. You are not a smart person.
  2. Doesn’t Viva fly to Monterrey from AUS?
  3. Big surprise. Gov. Greg Abbott calls for Texas A&M University to fire professor for gender lesson in viral video Gov. Greg Abbott urged Texas A&M University to fire a professor who told a student to leave class after they raised objections over a lesson involving gender identity.
  4. Don’t leave out his grandparents being a part of the Texans ownership group. That is one of his favorites.
  5. What a miserable cunt. A&M should be ashamed of itself, but alas they are not.
  6. Thanks for the review. It’s been on my radar for a couple of weeks. I need to get over there for lunch in the near future. In other news, Chopnblok made the New York Times 50 best restaurants in the country list. I love that place.
  7. How’s the broadband? Buddy of mine lived in Cancun for about a decade and his biggest complaint w/r/t working from there was unreliable broadband.
  8. It blows my mind that Orange County has his name on their airport along with a statue of him in the terminal.
  9. My wife and I were having a conversation about Vegas a couple days ago after we saw that stupid new commercial for the first time. When we lived in PHX, we would periodically hop a flight up to Vegas for the weekend to gamble a bit, get a cabana at the pool and lounge, eat at great restaurants, etc. It was never a cheap weekend, but it also didn’t feel like you were being viewed as a rube whose sole purpose for living was to get screwed by the entire hospitality industry. It has been years since we’ve been back and we periodically talk about doing a weekend to relive old times, but then we realize that we’ll just be pissed off the entire time and it will ruin the nostalgia.

Buddy of mine was at the Rose Bowl show last night. He has also seen them in Manchester and at MetLife last weekend. Since I already knew he would say Manchester if I asked him which was his favorite, I asked him this morning which was his favorite between NY and LA shows and he said LA was the clear winner. He’s been sending me videos and from every show he goes to and they sound damn great.

Before I moved back to Texas where I can have great BBQ any time I want, I would sometimes stop at the Cousins at DFW for a BBQ fix. Was it great? No. Was it passable enough to satisfy an itch for Texas BBQ for someone who didn’t have ready access to it? Yep.
  12. I’m a fan of the entire Duckstache repertoire. Everything they do is high quality.
  13. MPLS is an awesome city. One of my best friends has lived there for 20 years and I doubt they ever leave. We love going up there to visit them in the summer. Great downtown, good restaurants, tons of breweries. Canoe trips on the boundary waters are an awesome experience along the US/Canada border.
  14. I’d also like to check Traverse City out. Have a friend that rented a house there this summer and they said it was awesome.
  15. Wife works for a company based in Wisconsin and travels there every month for a week for meetings and to work out of her office there. She has just about convinced me that we need a place in the Great Lakes region.

My wife suggested we check out her Netflix sitcom. We made it less than two minutes before we bailed on it. Awful laugh track and schlocky humor.
  17. Are the onions part of the lovemaking or something to eat after the act?
  18. If you read the thread you would know.
  19. Do your children enjoy sugary breakfast treats and watching YouTube videos in an idling car?
  20. You would be guessing incorrectly.
  21. Saw that last night during the football game. My comment to the wife was “that should fix everything!”
  22. The good news is that Musk is well known for his generous acts of philanthropy.
  23. Do all of the Altimas have paper plates that expired in 2023?
  24. Of the ones listed, I would pick Pappas every time. Adding to your list, I would throw Guard and Grace into consideration. I’ve never had a bad meal there and the atmosphere is more contemporary if you’re tired of the typical staid steakhouse.
