  1. Dude, you’re sanewashing. How are college tours spreading right wing propaganda “good to have?”
  2. The estate and the other side both have plenty of funds to make us whole. Our challenge is that the parents don’t look at it as a business transaction. They are very emotionally attached to the house and offend easy when it comes to having a conversation about why it doesn’t make sense for us to have an ownership stake in a lake house that requires a 5 hour flight and a two hour drive for us to use. For whatever reason, they don’t have the same attachment to their place in Hawaii or else that would be another conversation that would have to be had.
  3. I’ll be following to see how this plays out for you. Wife and I sit in your sister’s seat and would love to find a resolution where we don’t become co-owners of a lake house 2,000 miles away from us that we have no interest in having an ownership stake in. In general, we don’t want to be on the hook for maintenance and upkeep on a house that we visit maybe once per year, but her parents are adamant that the house be left to all of the children. We’ve tried to delicately approach the subject, but it has been a difficult conversation for us to have with her parents since they are very emotionally attached to the house.
  4. So sweet. Countdown to foster fail?
  5. Has Elon launched any penis rockets in the last 24 hours?
  6. The Gypsy Poet suggestion is a really great one. Fantastic pizza and it gives me an Austin vibe. Coincidentally, it’s located on Austin St. If the family goes to the HMNS (less than a block from the ZaZa), make sure they hit up the butterfly habitat. It’s an add-on to the general admission and well worth it.
  7. MF is the best sushi in town, IMO. Unless you’ve got some deep pockets and really, really love your children, it’s probably a better choice when you’re sans kids.
  8. Yeah, I’ve stayed there for work stuff and it’s a great hotel otherwise.
  9. Wherever it is that y’all are in that picture offers great parking for truckers.
  10. It’s always good advice to steer clear of a hotel that sells pool passes to the general public if you intend on using said facilities. It’s a greedy move by the hotel that enshittifies the experience for guests paying for a room.
  11. Reminds me of a guy I know professionally that sells some pretty high dollar imaging equipment in the healthcare space. The dude started spamming LinkedIn with the craziest right wing propaganda a few years back. I finally got fed up with seeing his political hot takes every single time that I opened the app that I removed him as a connection and made a note to myself to never buy another piece of equipment from him again. I don’t know how dumb people have to be to post that kind of shit on what is supposed to be a professional networking app.
  12. You should probably curate your friends if you count readers of gateway pundit amongst your social circle.
  13. He may have planted the rifle on the roof much earlier in the day? I don’t know, just spitballing. Wouldn’t explain how he was able to jump off the roof and leave campus escaping into the woods carrying a bolt action rifle as has been reported. It seems like even in the mass hysteria of people running away from the scene, someone would have noticed the guy with a rifle, but maybe he had just enough of a head start on the crowd.
  14. I’m not joking when I say that I will not be surprised if he is given a state funeral.
  15. So much news discussion here in the DT!
  16. Specifically, he was answering a question about transgender shooters.
  17. I can think of one guy who just got gifted a gigantic distraction from Epstein.
  18. Utah is pretty rural. I don't know about UVU, but all the best facilities are in SLC. That area is far from rural.
  19. It’s Utah County. Utah Valley Medical Center is a large Level II trauma center close by.
  20. From the videos I’ve seen, it sounds like a single shot.
