I looked to see if any of the Fluance tables were on sale, but they don’t appear to be. The Technics 1200 clone by Audio Technica is ok and is on sale. https://a.co/d/1x7xnxg Other good entry brands are Fluance, Pro-Ject, U-Turn. You’ll need powered speakers since you don’t have a stereo, though.

I use this for a stylus cleaner https://a.co/d/g0VepXG I still use the Spin Clean for record cleaning (for now), and honestly it’s still good, but if you wanna be fancy, this inexpensive ultrasonic cleaner is fairly new to the market and is generally well reviewed. It’s kinda loud when you use it, and you can only clean one at a time, but it works well. https://a.co/d/1wvIkEy I do think that the Discwasher stuff is still good, too, but I haven’t used it.
  3. I had the dissolving ones. They definitely worked pretty well for me. Good thing too, since I ended up being allergic to fosaprepitant.
  4. Also, Lewis broke the 300 race curse! Damn, and won a race 17 years after his first one. And the first 9 time winner at one circuit. Old man still setting records.
  5. Obviously I’m biased to the winner, but regardless that was a great race no matter who won. Silverstone is absolutely the best circuit for actual racing on the calendar. Awesome.
  6. I have the predecessor to the American Performer, which is the American Special. It’s nice. Looks just like the 2 tone sunburst with black guard tele of the timber line in the link.
  7. I mean, sure he could. This move itself wasn’t that bad in a vacuum. The previous one was worse. But there’s a build up to it. It was eventually going to happen when the stewards decided to simply not do anything up to this point. Remember that this move at the very same corner is what pretty much kicked off the whole “let them race” thing from Red Bull starting in 2019 which came to a head in 2021 and has basically allowed these kinds of moves since.
  8. Wow, Stella spitting fire here.
  9. Yep. This is why he has stated several times that he doesn’t like close racing. He cannot do it. He had several shitty moves before the contact, too.
  10. Same, tbh.

  12. It does not help that Danica is an actual crazy person, too.
  13. Yeah, this!
  14. I don’t know how you guys like Targas better than coupes! Without the C pillars and quarter windows, the classic fastback look is gone and that ruins it for me.
  15. Concert posters are fun. You can get some legit reprints from Wolfgang’s. https://www.wolfgangs.com/posters.html
  16. Speaking of Ocon….. there are rumors that he will go to Mercedes on a one year deal to give Kimi another year of seasoning. That would be one of the moves of all time.
  17. I mean, there are stans for every driver (well, maybe not EVERY driver….. does Ocon have any?). No surprise that Lewis has a lot of them. Not unlike that one Danny Ric fan that has been posted here before. This season just kind of is what it is for Lewis.
  18. Yeah, the AFM/DFM lifters will generally all fail at some point. Some at 25k, some at 100k, some even longer with lots of maintenance. Best bet is to use synthetic and change your oil every 5k. Those lifters don’t like extended changes and need quality stuff. You can always disable it, too.
  19. Yeah the removal of the MGU-H was kind of done to appease Porsche (who isn’t even entering now) and Audi (whose level of commitment seems kind of shaky anyway), so this is what we have. They should have just let them use more fuel and had less reliance on battery (2026 will use a larger battery/MGU-K component).
  20. It’s a shitshow for sure, but I don’t believe Obbs is correct there. We will get more info as we go forward of course.
  21. I should clarify that I don’t mind the look really. The 2006 car thing wasn’t a shot, but just that I feel that the power unit is going be a disaster with how heavy they still are.
  22. Well, the 2026 aero regs seem pretty hampered by the weak 2026 engine. Active aero, cars that look like modern versions of 2006 cars, and active aero (like DRS) on the front wing too because they won’t go fast enough on the straights otherwise. Yikes.
  23. Also, you can remove swirls pretty easily if they’re just from washing. Can easily pay someone to do a paint correction or learn how yourself using a DA polisher. You can get the car ceramic coated once you correct the paint to give it a lot more protection, too. That can be expensive, but you can learn to do it yourself, too. The more pro level finishes are harder to apply, though they last even longer. Basically, the longer it lasts, the harder it is to apply. If not, just use a quality ceramic spray coating like Griot’s 3 in 1 and reapply every 6-12 months. It won’t provide as much protection, but it’ll make the vehicle easier to keep clean/wash, and provide nice water beading.
