  1. Took the trailer up to our family property last weekend and stayed for a couple of nights. Didn't do much other than check a few game camera's, shoot a few guns and cook. Had the generator and actually ran the A/C for a bit on Friday evening when it was muggy. First time doing that with the genset and happy to see it worked ok. Nice weekend with the wife and son. We always bring the trailer to the house the day before a trip to load up and get the fridge cooled off. When hooking up the power I noticed that the 50a twistlock wasn't really clicking in like it should. I messed with it a bit a little piece of plastic fell out and then it twisted ok. I looked and it just seemed like one of the edges and wasn't a big deal. Fastforward to the next day when connecting at camp and the whole inside of the connector had broken away. Opps. Was able to remove the outside cover and fish the plug part back out and connect with the cord and wrap the whole thing with duct tape and was good for the weekend. You can see my trash bag weather proofing in the last pic. I've had the a spare receptacle and connector on my spare parts amazon list since we bought the trailer but never got around to ordering them. Well, they should arrive tonight and I should be good to go on the next trip.
  2. No tags? GW Benny Richards would not be happy about that.
  3. As least it’s above water, so you got that going for you.

  11. Lol. Drove through Mustang today coming off the freeway and 6 miles from there as the crow flies right now. Maybe Cuban will bring back Beaver Bucks.
  12. In case you haven't heard, Ram finally issued a recall for 2019-2020 Ram 2500/3500/4500 diesel trucks for replacement of the crappy CP4 injection pump. Go to https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/recalls/search.html and put in your VIN to see if your truck is affected. This thread from HDRams forum has a bunch of info from Mopar and NHTSA.

    AMMO THREAD

I’ve bought from most of them at one time or another it seems like. Powder Valley, Natchez, Midwayusa, Midsouthshooter, Cabelas/BPS, Brownells, Grafs depending on who has what in stock and best price/sale. In the current environment with scare supplies there is a great thread in Thehighroad.org reloading forum with guys posted when they have found something in stock. It’s probably the best way to find instock primers right now. Gotta be fast when they come up though https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/where-are-reloading-components-available-not-a-discussion-thread-link-required.883031/page-53
  14. Brought to you by the same guys that actually did the Dumb and Dumber minibike ride to Aspen, a ride across Alaska on an old school Honda CT-90 and a new Trail 125. Oh a bonus, let's rebuild the CT-90 after the trip ...

Nice to have a gun with some history.
  16. @Rumblefishstix Is that a Rockford Arsenal co-axial press? Have you loaded much on it compare to a regular O frame press? How do you like it?

    Getting old sucks

If you aren’t using hiking poles get some. You’ll be amazed at how much they help your knees especially downhill.
  18. Hell yeah! Sounds a lot better than a dried out, leftover turkey.
  19. Yeah that's a lot of guns for a kid. I tried doing something similar with mine but on a reduced scale. Goal was a decent arsenal: 22 youth rifle, 22 semi-auto rifle, 22 pistol, 9mm pistol, AR, centerfire rifle, shotgun. I've done the 22 rifles, 22 pistols, 9mm pistols, AR and 1 shotgun. I have a 30-30 lever gun one will get and the other will get a 30-30 Win that is my dad's. Need to finish up the list I guess.
  20. If its brown its down. Might as well head up up N Dakota next spring and stomp a bunch of nest too.
  21. If you happen to be in Borger or Monahans, you can stop by one of the new Bennigan's that are now operating in Texas. How far would you drive for a Monte Cristo?
  22. Show up with one of these, crack it open with the key and set it in the middle of the table. Done!
