  1. PBS documentary on Big Bend that dropped a few days ago. https://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/big-bend-the-wild-frontier-of-texas-nuespk/23821/
  2. That CZ is a great looking gun. One of those in 6.5Grendel would be a great yute deer gun.
  3. Did the same last night and used an air quick connector to hose bib to blow out the lines. Read where someone suggested some rv antifreeze down the drains, in the toilet bowl and the tanks. Might help a bit.
  4. New RV with AL tanks will typically have the plastic plug. If it's metal, it might be an anode instead of a plug but you can remove it to drain also. Hit the pressure relief valve before draining and use teflon tape when putting the plug back in. I bought a wrench kit that has extra plugs to leave in the trailer just to keep from having to dig out a socket set. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BMRRZ94 They video on this link shows how to remove, drain and replace.
  5. Drain the tank, open low point drains for hot and cold water lines, drain water heater and blow out the lines with air. In really cold climates they usually pump antifreeze into the lines but depending on where you are, you might not need to do that. We went back to our farm this past weekend. Trailer is still in the driveway and I'm gonna drain and blow out the lines tonight before we haul it back but I won't be putting in any antifreeze here in Houston.
  6. Dang that was lucky, doggone near lost a $400 hand cart.
  7. Try to slide in at least one dickbutt, preferably as an animated transition.
  8. Took the rv up the ranch this weekend and I had some small engine help. Or channeling my best Gary Larsen "And the cows discovered electricity"
  9. Oshman’s representing. I’ve got a bunch of those era Winchester shotgun shells that were bought in the ‘80s at Target of all places.
  10. Those heavy 9 field loads are probably for live pigeon shoots.
  11. More back lot MX if you’re gonna be making more videos. Maybe a table top over a dump truck just for fun.
  12. Cool gun. If you want to be sure on caliber, have a reputable smith do a chamber casting and measure.
  13. Great Carl Hiassen book. First one of his I read.
  14. There are a bunch of drill one hole and engrave Form 1 suppressor kits out on the market. All you need to do is chuck up one end in the vice of a drill press and drill out the end opposite from the threaded end. All the internal baffles are already there. Pretty much the same as an 80% lower except you should have a trust and approved form 1 before you do it. Google solvent trap and you'll find tons of kits for sale.
  15. Fucking sweet tea as a descriptor. It's fucking iced tea! You can put sweetener in it or not. I mean, Lydia made sweet tea with her Stevia but she sure didn't put any ice in it. /notrivial
  16. Even in winter, carry plenty of water. The low desert humidity will still suck moisture out of you and you won't realize it as much in the coolness.
  17. IMO, HR 127 will stall in committee. There is pretty much a bill like this introduced every session and it dies a quick death. That said, there's no telling what will be passed in the next 2 years.
  18. Did you go with the big engines?
  19. If you've ever done a lot production type soldering, you don't have any feeling in your fingertips after a while anyway.
  20. The guy is shooting a bolt action in the video I posted. Also, just in case you want to see the aftermath of shooting flesh with a 50 cal at fairly close ranges.
  21. The guy is shooting a bolt action in the video I posted.
  22. This guy is an outdoor education prof in Melbourne Aus and makes some great short films. Watch his Mile an Hour video after this one.
  23. I worked for a small instrument company in the early 90s and the owner, who wasn't a US citizen, would make 4-6 week around the world sales trips 2 or 3 times a year. At the end of every day, his admin would have all the sales persons write up a page or two of the contacts/sales made each day, engineering mgr would make a report and manufacturing would make a report and would fax it to whatever hotel he was staying at. He would read the report and and markup/ask questions in the margins and have the whole thing resent back and ready for the admin when she came into the office. So imagine 15-20+ pages of scrolled thermal fax every morning. I would say thing got better when email came around but when that happened we got an email address. As in one, for the whole company.
