  5. There are loads of them who just can’t figure to get out of the corner they’ve painted themselves into. Saving face is hard.
  6. Ever since Sister Fabian made us memorize the names of all US presidents, and all of the president’s cabinet officials, I’ve felt the need to know stuff.
  7. It was too depressing to add she said she heard of George Bush but didn’t mention Obama. These grown people know nothing about the world they’re living in.
  8. In order for Texas to realize its full potential, much work must be done in black and brown communities to educate non voters. Spoke with my sister yesterday after her routine visit to the doctor. She had this exchange with a young Latina RN who graduated from Angelo State: Sister: isn’t it wonderful to see Jimmy Carter celebrate his 100th birthday? Nurse: Who is Jimmy Carter? Sister: He’s the former POTUS Nurse: I’m not into politics, although my brother is trying to teach me more about it. I’ve had similar dispiriting conversations with young (and old) black people when canvassing neighborhoods for votes.
  9. Most people aren’t aware that Bibi is not a practicing religious Jew. Most evangelicals just assume he is.
  10. When Trump finally loses, it won’t be because Bibi didn’t do everything satanically possible to help him win.
  11. Anybody catch Rachael’s segment on JD Vance and this Yarvin character? What’s the deal with all these right wingers with elite educations wanting to abolish universities and install dictators?
  12. Happy birthday, former President Carter. Hold on for a couple more days and cast your absentee ballot. You’re a great American.
  13. In a P 2025 world, there won’t be an EPA. So, there’s that.
  14. One wonders if the NSA is able to capture all of the collusive conversations between Bibi and Trump in a run up to the election.
  15. This morning’s Richmond Times Dispatch reports harassment of a local Haitian restaurateur who is being accused of serving cooked cats and dogs. Story is behind the paywall. Trump and Vance are responsible for all of this: https://richmond.com/life-entertainment/local/food-drink/donald-trump-haiti-pets-dogs-sandrika-balthazar/article_1b5a294e-7c4b-11ef-99ce-cf931d8b7962.html Sandrika Balthazar of Haitian Food RVA speaks out against false rumors about Haitian immigrants eating pets and shares her journey…

  19. Where is Trump’s wife? The have enough money to pay her for appearances not covered in her contract.
  20. He fooled some into thinking he was Brioche. Most saw him for the butter biscuit he really is.
  21. I watched the interview live. He said Wall Streeters think that things could go well for them, or we could lose our democracy…said both are possible in a Trump presidency.
  22. Ross Sorkin weighs in: https://www.mediaite.com/tv/cnbc-anchor-says-business-titans-tell-him-they-are-scared-of-the-chaos-that-trump-will-create/ What do your Wall Street sources say?” Melber asked. Sorkin replied that while his business contacts are “pleased” with some of what Trump has said, they have deep concerns. “They are scared of the chaos that Trump will create,” he said. “They’re scared of waking up in the morning and looking at X/formerly Twitter and seeing either their company or their name in it and what that means. And the sort of jerking around from side to side of where– I mean, just yesterday, Trump is out there saying he’s going to add a 200% tariffon John Deere, on Deere tractors. Think about that for a second. And by the way, how strategic is that? What about all the farmers in America that buy the tractors? That’s a massive tax on them. That’s what it is.”
  23. It is with closeted evangelical Republican men.
  24. Or they’re going big and not planning to go home. Why not at least try to get a cushion in the Senate that might allow you to “reform” the Supreme Court?
