  1. Let’s just put a bounty on Putin. [checks Geneva Convention to see at what point Surly commits war crimes]
  2. “Hey Kobe, do you think Wade could beat you one on one?” ”Yeah…but I’ve been dead 3 years!”
  3. Is Gloria James still around, maybe threatening high school principals if they don’t let her take the rims her grandsons break off home as souvenirs? As for Bronny, maybe his heart grew three sizes once he got to college and away from Lebron and Gloria.
  4. I believe they’ve done it no more than 3 times, all with the 1960s version, and most if not all during preseason games. This is the first time they will break out blue/red/white 70s-90s uniforms and they will do it 3 times this year. Probably in retaliation to Hanna McNair announcing Texans will change to H-town blue.
  5. Someone on the radio compared Titan fans getting off on this to weird stepmoms trying to claim glory off their stepkid’s accomplishments.
  6. Who’s going to be the diversion for cemetery security while the other 2 million of us Houstonians take a dump on Bud’s grave?
  7. Maybe they can find a couple more shades of blue to go with the navy, royal, and bluish silver on those stupid ass uniforms.
  8. Pam Cummings seems to have her panties in a twist because she thinks Bijan will get hosed. Owners aren’t “saving a few bucks” by paying RBs less. They spend the same amount of money, just allocating more to positions where elite talent has more impact on the aggregate. Unicorn running backs will still get a second contract, see: Derrick Henry, McCaffrey, Kamara.
  9. +1 on classic Pats, Dolphins, Rams, Falcons, Chargers being permanent. I don’t know who runs these team marketing departments over the decades. The weird fonts and shapes of the 90s and 2000s needs to Diaf and never return as future retro. The Falcons all black of the 90s wasn’t bad and was a refresh of the (better) reds. The late Vick and Matt Ryan versions were vomit worthy. Fuck Adam Adams Seaskunk, her dead father Bud, and the raccoon that lived on his scalp. I hope the Texans play trademark hardball with them when they release the new color scheme in a few month, and that the new “H-town blue” is indistinguishable from the old Columbia blue. Seriously, how does anyone (including Nashville people) support what is nothing more than trolling Houston Oiler fans? There are no oil workers or oil industry in Tennessee. No one there gives a fuck about Earl Campbell, Bum Phillips, Warren Moon, etc. She is just being an ultra cunt. Roger Goodell should piss on her face and award the Oilers nickname to Houston.
  10. He was going to get a multi year deal at $20M+ on the open market? The Giants considered not even giving him the 5th year of his rookie deal because of injuries. The highest paid RB makes $16.5 (McCaffery). The current franchise tag would make Barkley the 6th highest paid RB for 2023. The $14/yr extension that he rejected from the Giants would’ve made him #3 in annual dollars. This is the guy who has had injuries and last year ran for 1300 yards and 8 TDs? What happened to “don’t hate the player, hate the game”? RBs aren’t as valuable today as generations past and carry a higher injury risk for a team that would be offering guaranteed money. The players, through the NFLPA, approve every labor deal and the franchise tag has been part of that. It’s business…the owners would probably be willing to abolish franchise tags but the players would have to give up something too. I’m not shedding any tears for Barkley that he would only make $10+m for a year (or prorated down if he only want to play the minimum qualifying number of games) before hitting free agency. Carry on, white knights of NFL RBs.
  11. When your company starts culling the herd, you’d think you might want to step up your appearance and performance to hang around as long as possible. Or you can be like Dan Orlovsky and do a segment looking like you just woke up on morning #3 of a Las Vegas boys trip.
  12. Die Hard was released in July? My brain hurts. You got any aspirins?
  13. If “car washes” include a swirlie, this dude looks like the type that catches a lot of them. 🚽 🌪️
  14. 20-30 years ago, we knew more about other teams and players on those teams because we were forced to watch SportsCenter on loop just waiting for the 30 second highlight of our own team. Now you just follow your team(s) on apps with on demand video clips. ESPN’s attempts to fill the tv void with commentary have been a failure.
  15. How much insurance cash do they get on his $12m? Enough to buy Ohtani right? 😂
  16. Second and third wives don’t count unless they pay for their own seats.
  17. I thought the same thing. Throw up some posts and chicken wire, and invest about $10 in chicks from Callahans.
  18. Meanwhile Jalen Green is banging Josh Christopher. Can we still trade Green for Jaylen Brown or Dame or somebody?
  19. People will eventually stop watching when the movies are comprised only of Marvel heroes’ kids, siblings, understudies, etc. It’s not worth it just to continue this universe’s storyline. They should finish this off quick, shift to X-men, then just reboot Avengers in a decade with a new, younger cast. They’re gonna need a new Spiderman too since making one movie a year for $10m and banging Zendaya has put Tom Holland’s mental health at stake and he needs a break.
  20. I have never received a complimentary breakfast and think they should change their name to airB
  21. If my wife is straggling behind with the kids or a cart, I have to tell the door monitor “they’re with me” like it’s an exclusive night club.
  22. The maths work out like: Started with $60.9m cap space Signed FVV ($43.3m/yr), Brooks ($20m/yr), Aussie backup center from PHX ($8m/yr). [~$71.3m/yr total against the $60.9 cap space] Traded away KJ Martin, TyTy, Garuba for rights to old euro dude who will never play.
