  1. Quentin Griffin scored at will.
  2. There are no coincidences-but there are damn sure some wtf lol results in this deal.
  3. Mike (owner of Paris) is a die hard Frog but also has one of the best staffs in Cowtown. Their Saturday morning crowd is a great mix of people who are loyal regulars. Since Peter Schroeder sold the Old Neighborhood Grille, Paris has been the best breakfast spot around the Magnolia, Berkeley, Fairmount area.
  4. Given-but sane and intelligent, not so much.
  5. Step away from the bong son.
  6. If you stopped at the Oklahoma border on your return and were deloused, you are forgiven. If not, make sure all of your shots are current.
  7. https://palisadepeachfest.com/peach-festival-schedule/ We just returned from a week touring Durango, Silverton, Ouray, Grand Junction. While there, we visited a farmers market in Fruita and bought a dozen palisade peaches. My only regret about this trip is that we missed the peach festival coming up August 18th. These peaches are sweeter than those I usually buy in Weatherford at the Parker County festival and will have our friends shipping some to us in the coming weeks.

    Texas BBQ

    Strangers, or brothers in shame?🤠
  9. https://waynes-boot-shoe-repair.business.site/ In Haltom City, but highly recommend their quality work and customer service.
  10. French toast, Freedom Fries, and Chili, don't forget the damn chili.
  11. Agree. Fast food burger that actually has a chargrilled flavor. Lived on the whopper sales on Sunday nights in FW in the 90's.
  12. Did this trek today at 11:30. Not for olds who overheat-will go earlier in the morning next stop at Bryce. Well worth the experience and for our first trip to Utah, the experience is breathtakingly beautiful.
  13. Read about this death and wished a worse fate for him.
  14. Sad to see the wrecking ball hit Papa Chang's. Used to have lunch at Harris with the wife once a week with their take out.
  15. Still memorable.
  16. One of the reasons I contribute to the local PBS station is because of such programming. Burns is a God when doing a documentary, and this compilation should be up to his usual top shelf style.
  17. That is probably the #2 camp bowie bus-it is a single bus but looks like two because it is connected. I bet they are trying to turn around.
  18. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7167733/Cocaine-haul-ship-grows-arrests-stand-6.html The pictures in this story-whooooah!

    The Baker

I have always hoped that this grand hotel would not meet the fate of similar hotels-wrecking balls for progress. As a child, one of my greatest joys was getting to stay in the Shamrock Hilton in Houston, now just a memory. Glad that the Baker will live again and will definitely make a reservation when it opens.
  20. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.ooo glad I took Forest Park to the tollway today going home. Not a way to start a weekend
  21. Ah, yes. Golden Gate and Drummer's Inn were excellent choices if you were partaking of substances illegal. And back in the 80's, most of the dancers at Sinbad's and Brass Rail were regulars at those locations after work.
  22. Fritz Von Erich vs The Spoiler!
  23. That battle between the Captain and Dority reminded me of Saturday Night Wrestling where the good guy was all but doomed and dead only to rise from the mat and rally against the evil competitor. Having passed a stone last year after the OU game, I am inclined to agree with you in terms of grueling based on what I hope is my one and only experience.
  24. Dead heat between this scene and the fight between Hearst's Captain and Al's compadre Dan Dority. That eyeball extraction and subsequent beating still is hard to watch.
