  1. the metal pipe is a dead give away. it's Jeff Gillooly
  2. would freezing your credit prevent someone filing for unemployment? I have one of mine frozen, but someone still filed unemployment for me in Virginia. I got mailed a pre-paid credit card from State of Virginia and a bunch of letters, one of which stated I would get nothing and like it from them, so I am curious about what's on the credit card. but not curious enough to have to punch in my SS# on the telephone number on the back of the card to check the balance (same with website).
  3. no, not bidding on Rainbow Doll. .4 ETH ($1000) is likely what it is going to take; too much imo for a Z9 that is unproven. really just looking to buy 'not glue' Buterins Z8/9 ~ $600 range (.2-.25 ETH). May just wait and try my luck during the next drop which is supposed to happen June 5th/6th or so to snag a Finney filly. Not sure how they determine the drop prices. I can't see them doubling from last time though so i think they will still be 'reasonable' and should help drive down the existing unraced genesis market pricing to approach TERA drop prices. Yeah, i think good horses can come from trash (or not elite) parents. Here is Gun for Hire's (& sister) parents. All of them are inverted V-shaped Trash or not, I can guarantee that King Razor can command whatever stud fee he wants.
  4. Z1 drop price was ~$36K so not that crazy i guess. not sure what an avg Z1 g-race odds are, but pulling a 3 means it has pretty good potential. There are a lot of Z1 that run 15+ odds in the g-race. sub par raced Z2 Nakamoto are going as low as 5 ETH ($12-13K) which the drop price was ~$19K. you just have to be on at the right place right time to snag stuff like this: https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0xa5f1ea7df861952863df2e8d1312f7305dabf215/8082 this sold for .5 ETH ($1300) yesterday. drop price was $1600 and the 2 paid races were higher dollar races so it's odds in the cheapest races would be a lot better. There are lots of just NFT traders that scour the lists and snatch up any bargains then immediately jack the price and list again. going to look for a genesis Finney filly before breeding starts, but not holding my breath.
  5. it helps if you think of ETH like casino chips with little intrinsic value. i have been following the female sales pretty closely and anything with an established profile is going for a lot. you got a great deal on Lemon. unraced Buterin Genesis are still going for a crazy good premium right now.
  6. i am going to look to pick up a Z2-Z4 Legendary Nak filly and colt after breeding starts. Should be a ton of them available. Then you can start adding some of that expensive blood to a stable. If you want to spend for another U-shaped filly, here is one for 2ETH https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0xa5f1ea7df861952863df2e8d1312f7305dabf215/12197 will do well if stays in class IV, but profile breaks down in class III. - my oz&lbs horse has a strong win/place/show profile but sucks at finishing 10+. just moved up to class I - no idea if that would merit anyone paying for a stud fee, but if I could breed it with a Nak horse that could compete in class I, then having a L-shaped profile would great.
  7. i just picked up a buterin genesis z9 nag to breed with. only a few races with 15 odds but bought for ~$600. I don't know if the market for fillies is going to go up as we get closer to breeding, but i imagine it will. Everything else i had seen in that price range was all 45+ odd crap. Also eyeing this one: https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0xa5f1ea7df861952863df2e8d1312f7305dabf215/26642 https://knowyourhorses.com/horses/26642 6 races, sub 10 odds in g-race and sub 15 odds in class III in the 5 races so far. asking .45 ETH ($1200) but probably cannot get at around .3 as there is already a bid at .35 right now.
  8. i have no idea how breeding will go. it looks like you can set your own price for a stud fee. theoretically, if you are fast clicking and have the ETH, you could mate with any stallion placed in the stud farm. I see 2 things happening. - If a stable want to keep the bloodline in-house: the top Nakamoto and primo racers are going to set insanely high stud fees, then breed in house (and pay themselves back the ETH). There may be a way to lower the rake amount from ZED by dropping the stud fee just for the time to breed it yourself then raising it again. - Everyone else will throw out their stallions at rando prices and we will have to wade through the data just like when buying/browsing for horses. If you have a stallion that's iffy, it might be better to go low at first to at least get paid right off the bat with one of the 3 stud fees available.
  9. is that on the label? and is that Devil worship masturbation or just Devil worship; masturbation. asking for a friend.
  10. yeah, i still have not found a decent filly at the right price. debating on whether to roll the dice on an unraced Buterin or pay a premium for something known and not a donkey. Although i think donkeys can breed winners, with just 1 per month, it's a lot longer ROI to try and find one.
  11. (V/R) (Q/V) what you did there
  12. saw on twitter that McD's was offering new employees an iphone if they hired on and stayed 6 months Other industries adapt to the labor market. Bite the bullet and pay people what it takes right now. Fuck, it's not like you can't fire them later and hire cheaper replacements in 3-6 months. Get some good pub out of it like the places cited above. I used to work for a electronics mfg company where we were always trying to retain and hire capable operators that did a lot of the processes that we could not automate. every 6 months some other company would land a big project and need to staff up and offer higher wages to do so. We would lose people and even have to offer more to keep our best. The big issue to the bottom line comes from when we would have to universally raise the wage floor for everyone. As the cost of hiring new operators rises, the disparity between them and the most senior operators grew. right before a mass exodus, mgmt would raise the floor to keep the majority from leaving. tldr, i think these places are more worried about raising the wages of existing employees than just offering $15/hour to attract new ones.
  13. intertial dampeners. made up tech so shit like this does not happen when they are changing speeds
  14. so can a cop stop anyone they see with a gun, ask for their ID and check for felonies? why is there not 'constitutional right to assembly 24/7' law passed by all the states? don't you have to file a permit for some protests/assemblies? how do curfew laws set by cities supersede the right to assembly set in the constitution? does the pres wanting to hold a Bible for a photo op suddenly take away the right to assemble? The 4th amdt is a joke for POC and many other Americans. fucking rubber stamped no-knock warrants then cops going in guns blazing. politicians wiretapping anyone they damn well please. People act like the 2nd amdt is the only one that is truly sacred and there should be zero limits on anyone owning a howitzer or wanting to suit up like Arnold in Commando (After they robbed the gun shop) to go get frozen yogurt. Anyway as others have said, I don't think it's going increase the amount of guns that are carried. maybe a few more broke-ass gravy seals can keep their dicks hard while getting a liter of cola at the Dimpus Burger. There was an already simple, cheap way to carry and now it's even easier i guess. kudos to the leg for rectifying the overwhelming #1 massive injustice against the people of Texas.
  15. A-Always, B-be, Looking at paid races. always look at paid races. there are only 34 of them and then the stats kinda suck at least per KYH. but the other tools site shows the same win % for paid races. this is an older horse when it was easier to get free races. These older horses were able to build a paper tiger by entering free races back in the day. us noobs can't conceive of that many free races even being available much less entered, so assume the majority of the races are all paid like we have been running. KYH seems to have recently zeroed out all P/L from free races. thought this horse was a beast that caught the plague or something. check out the odds on the last 3 races. Those are his only paid races. woof https://knowyourhorses.com/horses/1841
  16. i think the races have gotten more competitive overall. I stopped racing my Class III horse. Still racing oz and lbs in Class II, it's sorta treading water since moving up, but not great. too many stud horses there. It still has a weird profile at almost 100 races. https://knowyourhorses.com/horses/21001 sorting it by class, it looks like at Class II it's starting to form an inverse U. At class III it's no real pattern; just peaks at 1st/3rd/6th and 11th and valleys everywhere else. I will probably get to 100 races and then hold off for a bit. really just browsing the market for a mare/filly genesis either unraced or does not completely suck.
  17. Not what i was trying to say. Here is the time stamp for each race and you can see the rate change as ETH price has been going down so they are taking more ETH to keep the $2.xx entry fee per race. I think they set the exchange rate when the race is released. then extract it as you enter.
  18. looking at my Class IV horse, I only enter the $2.50 race and that has gone up from .007 ETH to .008 and now .009, so they are adjusting the amount of ETH but keeping the race value the same at $2.50 entry.
  19. the way the race prices (and prizes) are quoted are in USD, so i think it just adjusts how much ETH is paid in/out to meet a certain dollar amount.
  20. yeah, definitely should be. on one hand all the ETH i have in my account has cratered, but that means the horses are technically cheaper in USD. Is everyone else seeing that there are no races available right now?
  21. son had a class mate that was positive at school, so whole fam got the rapid test. no other testing outside that
  22. cool! hope it works out, but i just don't see the fuss to save 2.5% on a $1000 horse
