  1. Let he who has not pined after the Joey’s on Lake Union (when it was still there) waitstaff cast the first stone.
  2. That's a championship caliber coke nail right there.
  3. Is Newberry near Charleston?
  4. Keep going, I’m almost there.
  5. Chemical Explosion in bEast Texas FIFY
  6. You can thank CDC for that, it is 100% a TCU thing. Announcer: "Aaaaand that's another First Down, T..C..U--" Crowd: "FROGS!!"
  7. 💎🙌
  8. I opened an account with 30k at the beginning of covid, put about half in responsible stonks and used the rest to ride the FRSX/ALPP/MARA/SNVP/FPVD rockets to 4x returns...then put those profits in HMBL/AMYZF/IBRX to give most of it right back.
  9. Possibly on 'shrooms. Enjoy prison, fuckhead...
  10. This obviously fits here, but might merit its own thread given the possible industry repercussions... https://viewfromthewing.com/pilot-attempts-to-shut-down-engines-of-alaska-airlines-flight-while-in-mid-air/
  11. No terrorist watchlists for me, thanks!
  12. Really? Last time I checked, 9/11 and every other Western-targeted terrorist action of the past 100 years wasn't perpetrated by persons of the Jewish faith. ronaldo.gif
  13. Our group missed the email this year and thus the ticket request deadline, so we will not be in the stadium for the first time in like 20 years...fucking bullshit. For those who have watched elsewhere on the fairgrounds in past years, is there a good spot where Texas fans usually congregate, or at least isn't completely overrun by okie trash?
  14. Final score is all that matters yada yada… Need better playcalling/execution in the offensive third; four first-half drives yesterday inside the Kansas 30 and only managed six points, inexcusable. Not an Xs and Os guy, so hopefully someone who is can weigh in, but I was surprised at the comparative sack/TFL numbers yesterday. Expected better on both sides of the ball.
  15. I guess I’m the asshole. They were definitely there last year or the year before.
  16. We’re in spot 41, as a point of reference. Spot 42 is Case McCoy’s tailgate (HPI), and the biggest collection of commercial real estate douchebros you’ve ever seen. Tailgates in the area generally fill up 1-2 hours before kickoff and there’s a good amount of foot traffic with LCL, though probably not as much as being directly on Robert Dedman. And I’ve mentioned it before, but Orangebloods is in C3, so the internet slapfights could become real slapfights if y’all move into that shaded area. Which of course we’re all rooting for.
  17. Nothing significantly better or worse than last year from our westside, lower level perspective. Heat and opponent kept the crowd level somewhere below sell-out, which I’m sure helped create a sort of soft opening for vendors, staffers, and heat stroke first responders. One noteworthy takeaway was an apparent beta test for a new pump-up gimmick, ala Wisconsin’s Jump Around…Thunderstruck to start the 4th Quarter, complete with orange smoke, pyrotechnics, and LED light show (just pretend that part wasn’t pointless at 5pm). But amazingly, there was no announcement or cheesy “stand up and clap your hands!” bullshit and no sponsor content on the video board, as lamented with prior attempts in the Game Week thread. I’m cautiously optimistic this could be badass.
