  1. I noticed that all the IncEL Camino dudes making these videos talk like those Tik Tok girls who end every sentence really high pitched like they’re asking a question. Drives me crazy! Stop making every declarative sentence sound like you’re asking a fucking question.
  2. I still don’t think Helios owns the Happy Valley base. In one of the bonus videos it says Helios was chosen by the M7 to be the sole contractor to expand and maintain Happy Valley. When Helios first got this contract in 1997, they were in financial trouble after an antitrust ruling broke up their monopoly on exclusive government contracts to mine helium-3 on the moon. The M7 contract to expand Happy Valley on Mars was described as a “shot in the arm” for Helios because the M7 was pouring billions of dollars into the project. How could Helios own the base if it’s being paid for by the M7 countries? Helios owns all the technology like the ships, the plasma engine, and the drilling stuff, but Helios is being paid by M7 to use their technology to to do all these things related to the expansion and maintenance of the base. NASA and the M7 countries use Helios to transport and install their base habs at Happy Valley as part of their contract. If Helios “owned” the base outright then they wouldn’t need to ask the North Koreans permission to go into their wing of the base.
  3. Helios is the sole contractor for expanding, operating, and maintaining Happy Valley for M7. When did they say Helios was using their own money to fund operations? Helios gets paid through their contract with M7. At the M7 meeting in Russia, Helios told the M7 it would need $2 trillion to mine the asteroid from Mars. Irina said that Helios stands to gain the most because Helios gets paid right away while everyone else has to wait 40 years to see the benefits. How does this mean Helios is footing the bill for everything?
  4. Baker is Johnny except his cocaine is football. And dancing.
  5. Was Eddie Murphy not available? I didn’t know this was him for a while in the Nutty Professor like an idiot.
  6. This is all I think about when someone mentions Gideon.
  7. I remember 2004-2005 vividly from the VY years. No matter how old you were the guys were watching 40-year old Virgin, White Chicks, Anchorman, and Friday Night Lights while the ladies were watching Mean Girls, The Notebook, and The Butterfly Effect. This was the time when T9 text messaging started to take off but smartphones wouldn’t exist for a few more years. ”The” Facebook had just been invented but you couldn’t use it without a .edu email address. I can’t believe this was 20 years ago.
  8. Look how puffy the bags are. They’re more than half full of air, even more so than the name brand chips.
  9. It was 1992 in my house for over a decade.
  10. Aggy is using state money allocated to TAMU College Station and using it to pay for operating expenses for its “satellite” branch TAMU-Qatar. This money is then paid back to TAMU through gifts from the Qatar Foundation. So no there is no oversight with how they are using their money at all.
  11. This was a great part of Shaggy. It was cool to see the comments with the rep. It made the site feel more interactive.
  12. Bruce Mills is still working in his position. The position Art Acevedo is taking is a newly created Assistant City Manager position solely dedicated to working with APD. "I [believe] it is essential to have a City Management-level resource identified who is dedicated solely to APD," Garza wrote. "I sincerely believe that APD deserves to have this focused level of support and I am optimistic with these additional resources to help bolster our APD that we will continue to see success and movement on addressing any challenges." In his new role in Austin, he'll act as a liason between the department, interim police chief Robin Henderson, and Garza. He'll also work alongside existing interim assistant city manager Bruce Mills, who oversees the city's other public safety departments. https://www.audacy.com/talk1370/news/local/art-acevedo-named-as-interim-assistant-city-manager
  13. The decision to hire Acevedo was made by interim city manager Jesus Garza. Garza was also city manager when Kirk Watson was mayor in the late 90s/00s. They did shady shit like this back then too like the LCRA water deal they made behind closed doors. Note that Garza was also the treasurer of a PAC that contributed $700K to Watson’s mayoral campaign.
  14. I think this is a good hire since he played for years in the league and has a Super Bowl ring. His Wikipedia page stopped at 2020 so I’m asking what he’s been up to since I don’t have Instagram and I didn’t see anything on Twitter. You guys are getting defensive like I said something bad about him when I simply asked what he’s been doing prior to getting hired here. Excuse me for asking a few questions about a new hire on our coaching staff.
  15. He was pretty good in the NFL. Not shitting on the hire, just wondering about the gap in his resume. Was he coaching somewhere in 21, 22, 23? He was a coaching intern for the Steelers in 2019 and the DB coach for Missouri State in 2020, but what has he been doing in the meantime?
  16. Finley was arrested for eluding police after a traffic stop for not wearing a helmet while operating a moped. He didn’t participate in restraining a woman, forcibly penetrating her, and then writing an “I’m sorry” note so he can play football again.
  17. I wanted the Packers to win as a big fuck you to Aaron Rodgers but now I’m thinking that if they win, everyone is just going to talk about how Jordan Love is so good because Rodgers taught him everything he knows.
  18. Sam’s has great seafood. I used to get a bunch of Costco salmon and shrimp (both fresh and frozen) but there was a noticeable drop in quality over the past year and a half. I took a chance with Sam’s shrimp and salmon and it’s actually pretty good.
  19. They race NASCAR inside of the Coliseum?
  20. I’d love for the Packers to win it all the first season without Aaron Rodgers.
  21. BMA = Bloated Maroon Asshole
  22. I forgot Art used to appear regularly on Info Wars back when he was police chief.
