  1. I’m too music dumb to even articulate but Save the World just seems different. It’s not bad at all-just seems off to me for some reason. I’m sure it’s me.
  2. At first I was like why are you posting about Toledo, Ohio …
  3. The album mix feels if to me. It’s beautiful and the songwriting is phenomenal but the mix seems weird. YMMV
  4. Bateman has food insecurity issues it’s petty evident. He need some help. I love Sean Hayes. He’s phenomenal in Good Night Oscar.
  5. Is money a factor? If so, Holland America will be best (Celebrity would be too but gets a younger/more wild vibe than HAL). If you have some money, Oceania or Viking (I despise Viking's payment policies). If money isn't an issue at all, Seabourn/Silversea/Regent.
  6. Tom said on Twitter if Sara's liver was edible she'd have won. The comments didn't make it seem close - Buddha's criticisms were tiny nitpicks. Very good season. Sad Parma's leaving.
  7. Don’t trust a S Florida jury in a case of the govt vs this motherfucker to save my life.
  8. Proud for my friend - Harleton finishes about the best season ever (38-1) and wins the 2A title. Beat Shiner 10-5.
  9. Through 2, Harleton up 6-0 on Shiner. Friend’s kid plays 2B for Harleton.
  10. For the first time ever, no NYC chef or restaurant won a James Beard award.
  11. We're getting new bedroom furniture made by an Amish man that we have used for countless things over the years. He does great work for a fair price so I can temporarily ignore how they treat animals, their women and the law. Anyway ... The dresser will be a custom-made piece with a specific size and drawer set up. We go through the type of wood, stain, hardware, etc. and he then asked if we wanted soft-close drawers. Makes sense, he said, since they'll be dovetail and full ball bearing anyway. Without a beat Mrs. Ace goes, "No thanks, we can close the drawers ourselves. I don't think there is an outlet near where it'll go for us to plug it in, anyway." She said this ... to an Amish man ... in a barn ... without electricity ...
  12. Ehhhhh I think that’s a swing - but I’ll take it Edit nope not a swing
  13. I imagine brisket in Miami to taste worse than Lincoln Riley’s.
  14. Really nice piece of hitting there to tie it up.
  15. Well tomorrow will be stressful.
  16. Leave for Berlin to visit fam Monday - going for a week. In August we’ll spend 3 weeks at our cabin/land on the Huron beach on Manatoulin Island. A few NYC weekends probably, some time in DC, that about it.
  17. Sunbird opened Friday in White Oak on Highway 80. It sold out within 45 minutes Friday and today - Bryan said he’s never seen a line like they had.
  18. Padma announced she’s leaving after this season. That’s brutal. And last night they eliminated the chef with the best chance to beat Buddha in the final.
  19. Have caught up. Gary is now absolutely insufferable now and Colin seems like he's following on his heels. I have a feeling Daisy is over the entire show too and this is her last season.
  20. If there is a next season, I hope it's Coach Beard coaching the women's team. Also, I have a thought - the entire ending was a dream of sort and not reality. Ted's book was about visualization - him visualizing a percent ending would prove he overcame his final obstacle.
  21. A perfect ending. Just perfect.
  22. Next to Crumbs and whatever. Get some pizza and brisket. My friend owns the bakery/pizza joint - they’re excited for the new neighbor.
  23. For the East Texans, Sunburd is relocating to White Oak on Hwy 80. Unsure of opening but it’ll be soon.
  24. Every Christmas Eve or Christmas Day I drive over to Winters’ farm (it’s about 20 mins away) for a little moment of reflection. I probably should start doing this on Memorial Day too.
