  1. Man they’re damn good… gets the ball out so quickly, WR running great routes, catching everything
  2. 2nd half should be a steady diet of runs and short/med passes.
  3. Never seen Tx play this sloppy in a damn long time
  4. Well this game finally got interesting… at the worst time
  5. My goodness… just makes her even more desirable
  6. Along that though exercise, what if an institution like Harvard decided they care about sports?
  7. Who cares though? Is it fair? Nope. But for the schools Texas competes with, this is the pragmatic new landscape. As a society should we care that our universities focus this much about sports... debatable/probably not, but it sure is fun though.
  8. <Shrug>, overall the article seems fairly neutral, looks like the journalist writing it focuses on non-profits. Sports desk is now all The Athletics folks only.
  9. Hopefully they’re all putting in the work to recognize breaking pitches better.
  10. You're not wrong, doesn't excuse her lame response.
  11. I mean… she really can’t claim the no criminal history bit anymore can she?
  12. I mean this current incarnation hasn’t been too bad so far! 😄
  13. For fun, this is the NFL player's union report card on each team.. maybe from 2022? Heard about this from a recent Freakonomics podcast on labor and they featured the NFL, really facinating and interesting. https://nflpa.com/nfl-player-team-report-cards
  14. I'll readily admit, I have a novice's understanding of crypto. And at first it seems really cool all the good and possible things it can do as described by its evangelists say 5 years ago. It seems currently though, it's evolved to basically speculative investment asset type that borders on a ponzi scheme... I think it's kinda understandable why governments around the world are stepping in and regulating this technology.
  15. There will likely be unintended consequences from any governmental intervention. Even if one advocates for balance, cause you know people are irrational beings. Where I want to see our government (really all of us) do better is to own up and grow/learn from mistakes. Have a growth mindset.
  16. Maybe. I have a classmate from Edinburgh. Mexican American and he is alllll on the Abbott train for all this crap.
