  1. Can't disagree with any of this. He is 76, obese, a rageaholic, and oddly orange so fingers crossed he dies soon.
  2. FAKE NEWS! And, a Dem fucked someone young back in the mid 1800s so BOTH SIDES
  3. Yep. Where you end up when UCLA says no thank you.
  4. CSB, Pete was my macro economics professor. Shockingly, Entire class hated him for being a narcissistic xenophobe. Most of his required reading were his own books.
  5. Just found this thread, you my peeps. I always have ~10 bottles in the house for various dishes. Attached are ones I would recommend. 1) Chupacabra - Cholula with a lot more heat. 2) Juliana Scotch Bonnet - Sweet, acidic, sneaky heat, great on wings 3) 13 Angry Scorpions - If BBQ sauce and hot sauce had a bastard. Sweet, smoky, sneaky heat. 4) Secret Aardvark - Amazing on breakfast.
  6. I'm aware they want to win. However their record has been routinely bad in a down PAC. Moving to a stronger conference where I don't think their style will work well isn't going to improve their record IMO. I'm a bit lost on your last two responses to my posts. Are you under the impression I'm a part of this Iowa State/Oklahoma State debate? I'm not and think its doing just fine without my involvement.
  7. I’m fascinated to see if USC and Riley will have to adjust their style in the B1G. My guess is they are hoping to be similar to tOSU. If they aren’t quite up to that standard I expect several Ls annually. Not bad but not what USC wants. Don’t think they are going to enjoy late Oct early November road games against Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan. Teams that are committed to running, defense, and limiting mistakes in craptastic weather. UCLA should just shut down football now. This won’t end well.
  8. Not sure I follow your logic here. This shows UCLA are committed to maximizing sports revenue. Whether they want to really compete in football is to be determined. If you were struggling to compete in the Pac I think the first 5 years in the B1G might be pretty painful. I expect UCLA to be bad, Nebraska level bad.
  9. Is there a third option, like he goes 5-7 and loses his job? Perhaps he is just a bad head coach (currently) and looked like a rising star due to an unreal season from his QB at UCF. He has a losing record in 5 of 6 seasons as a HC. The schedule is favorable this year but he has a lot of work to do. Nearly the entire offensive coaching staff is brand new. Likely half of the starters will be transfer players. The roster lacks depth in several crucial areas.
  10. You try going 3-9 in the B1G West without bending a few rules.

  13. JJ JCVD wore it better.
  14. 9-5 Calgary in the end. "I'm here for the gangbang"
  15. Watching Battle for Alberta at the moment. Just hit mid-way of the 2nd and Calgary 6 Edmonton 5. Basketball game on ice.
  16. Don't be a jabroni, that was an inside job
  17. MBS didn't think twice about chopping a journalist into pieces in an embassy. Why would he care about some F1 drivers? Because Mercedes generates about $180B in annual revenue (Top 40 in World) and their F1 team is valued >$1B. Might be some repercussions if MBS decides to cut up, or even detain, their drivers. Latifi and Albon might be fucked though. Moot point regardless as we are racing this weekend with some potential bonus fireworks in the background.
  18. Seems pretty tight this race between Haas, AlphaTauri, and Alpine. Would be fun if we had 3 team battles at the front and mid-pack all 2022.
  19. Nice to see Haas and AlphaTauri battling for points. McLaren, yikes....

    John Clayton RIP

Guy was fantastic interview on the radio too. Certainly a trailblazer. RIP.
  21. This. Anything to stay away from raising kids and listening to his wife's deep thoughts on the benefits of regular colon hydrotherapy.
  22. 42 and no kids. Wife and I always thought we would have one eventually but when she hit 35 I still didn't feel the desire. Got a vasectomy and left the possibility for adoption open. As another poster mentioned, energy started to become an issue. I'm a senior leader in a large corporation and find myself pretty drained at the end of each day. Not sure how I would have the energy to really invest into a small child at this point. I think the parenting ship has completely sailed now. We have a lot of money compared to our peers with kids, act pretty spontaneous still, and spend time with our families kids often. I doubt I will regret not having a child and there are plenty of pros (health, money, travel, spontaneous fun). That said, if my wife or I drop dead of cancer at 60 we may find the world to be a very lonely place. Probably not a good reason to have a child but certainly reinforces for us the importance of having a strong relationship network.
