  1. Oddly enough my sister just moved from there to Sherman few years back. Some damn good hunting in that neck of the world that's for sure. My in-laws live in Sherman (here now) and driving through Bonham to get to my niece’s place
  2. Lol and I’m converting my car to a Mach 1 one piece at a time
  3. I picked up the new door a few months ago and just got the fender yesterday. I ordered a new side mirror and used the base off of it with my original bell piece looks better than using the reproduction Getting excited.
  4. He was referring to the prior dog owners. IIRC he said they are in a small apartment with young kid and #2 on the way. They had to give up the dog and explains why they couldn’t take it back for multiple reasons.
  5. Until 5-10 years ago 347s had significantly shorter lifespan due to the pin being in the oil ring and the rod angle. New piston design fixes some of that but I don’t want it to be in the 500 HP range anyway. 350-450 will be great. I’ll keep my existing 8” rear.
  6. More details on the engine build plan: Goal is fun to drive street machine with torque and the ability to hwy drive with lower RPMs. I want a little rumble but not a race cam that is super lopey. I'm getting a used built T5 to replace my C4 at the same time, the original builder will go through it and inspect it. Also new gears in the rear, probably 3.55 or 3.73. I already have a set of JBA shorty headers and beautiful exhaust. This kit is more expensive than I was planning but it is all top shelf stuff. Partial list... Bore and hone my original 69 302 block Scat 331 rotating assembly Trick Flow 11r 170cc heads Trick Flow stage 1 cam Edlebrock RPM Air Gap intake Roller conversion new timing chain and cover Melling high volume oil pump Moroso baffled 7 qt pan probably going to replace the original distributor Builder wanted me to do a 347 and I deferred to the 331 and he is good about listening to me and pushing where he should and going with what I am comfortable with. Things that went through my head before were 351W vs 302 based stroker. Sticking with the C4 and doing gear vendors vs AOD or T5 and then this built T5 was available at a good price. T5 is supposed to go in the same spot as the C4 shifter. Engine gets pulled out in a couple of weeks and we'll order parts after the initial tear down and inspection A few things I have not decided on are replacing the starter, new alternator and what tachometer to put on the steering column. Leaning towards a Pertronix distributor with a rev limiter.
  7. It would be like Tiger King vs a copy of Tiger King without the bleached mullet and nut hugger pants. The second one would definitely be more refined.
  8. Well the focus groups came back and you can't motivate the R base with things are good. They only respond to the medulla oblongata fight/flight response of grievance politics. See previous post. They think the grievances were actual policies enacted into law but really it was the tone or messaging they like. Those people are bad Those other people are bad I'm the only one that will stand up to the bad people I'm just like you and I hate bad people too Look at what the bad people in congress are doing, they are coming after me for supporting you Don't you want me to be the shield to protect you from the bad people I did nothing wrong, they are only after me because I support you Trump's actual policy accomplishments: Tax cut for rich and tax increase for middle and lower class Federal funds to build a useless wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for but contracts went to his buddies Almost split NATO Appointed 3 Supreme Court Justices Laid the basis for current inflation with the short sighted stimulus packages that were too large and were another crony grift Buddied up to dictators Increased the costs for Americans to buy from China and reduced out exports at the same time
  9. Holy shit. Look at the phot and the caption. I'm losing it in the first 45 seconds over the guy with that FUPA wearing hot pink to call attention the to FUPA and the discussion is about imagery.
  10. 1. Money Laundering - Instead of books, "prints" these and he can use campaign or other contributions to funnel the money to his personal accounts 2. Money Laundering - If you buy 40000 You get free SCI document (Not in the disclaimer but is a wink and nod deal) Notice he is taking cash not bitcoin for these things. Very interesting.
  11. NPD Is the best place, better delivery times, no backorder hassles, better customer service, the owner owns a 69 Boss 302 and is active on the car forums. Only go to CJPP is not available at NPD.
  12. @Lhorn Nice! Single cab and long bed, just as God intended.
  13. Lol, and the Lady on the left made her dress out of the communist China flag.
  14. There is a good point here. We’ve talked about Russia winning when they had the support of England or the US in the past, but when was the last time Russia won a war they started? Napoleon - They were invaded WW I - Got into the war because Serbia was one of it’s biggest allies and was supported by England & France WWII - Invaded by Hitler who was their ally at the time and bailed out by the US In each of those cases Russia ended up with more territory than they started with but they were invaded first. In each case they could use the existential threat to unite the country but now they are trying to make up “Nazi” threats and it is not motivating the troops. As best we can tell their main motivations are washing machines, iPhones, toilets and getting out of prison.
  15. If the measurement is how many pushups they can do then I agree.
  16. This is the most expensive pocket knife I’ve ever bought. It has a bi-metal blade, the tips is reportedly delicate but it gets sharp as can bee and holds an edge. I like carrying it and it matches my wrist watch (lol).
  17. To fund the men looking at women looking at social media program for America.
  18. I have both the black one and the white one. I'll have to find them.
  19. I got civ 6 on switch in early November right before I caught the Flu so I binged it. The port to switch has some strange things when you use a TV as your display. I was coming from Revolutions which only has about 1/3 the complexity. I hated the World Congress at first but getting the hang of it. I wanted to try a sea domination path with the Vikings and then the Dutch but I need to change the map because the default has all the other civ afraid to set a city on the coast. I am getting the hang of playing the Dutch (everyone hates the Dutch) The thing with diplomacy in this game is you have to play nice until you're ready to completely take a civ out. My favorite part is trying to figure out how to layout my first 3 cities for best adjacency bonuses and growth. If you get that part victory is a fait accompli. If I get to where it is obvious I will win domination I will quit and start a new game. I love planning double bonuses from Wonders by having two cities able to get the bonus from the wonders. I have won a religious victory after getting killed by it for not paying attention to it at first. If you have the Saladin or Gandhi in the game you have to watch out. Get to the Apostles early enough so you can kill the missionaries. If I get the right starting position I might go for Economic. Culture seems unattainable. I have not faced every leader yet.
  20. She could have overseen the Darrel Brooks "sovereign citizen BS"
  21. yeah last time I was there was after meeting a chick at Rhinos and Jocks that wanted to ditch her girlfriends and play pool so we went there first (I had a pool table at home too but not sure I wanted her to know where I lived). It was an interesting scene. Rhinos and Jocks has probably been gone over 10 years now. I know that last visit was at least 19-20 years ago.
  22. you should have started with Gettin' ripped off These also apply: Gettin' robbed Gettin' stoned Gettin' beat up Broken-boned Gettin' had Gettin' took
