Weird. Looks like they just put a carport or a metal shed on a tank. So having turrets that can swivel isn't important to them anymore? Russians deployed a tank with a new type of protection near Krasnohorivka During the armored assault near Krasnohorivka, the Russians deployed a tank with a new type of drone protection. The video of the repulsion of the enemy attack was posted on the Telegram channel of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group. Recently, Russian invasion forces made another attempt to storm Ukrainian positions in the Donetsk region. The Russian invaders intended to drive Ukrainian forces out of Krasnohorivka and gain a foothold there. For the assault, the Russians used infantry fighting vehicles accompanied by tanks. Ukrainian defenders detected the movement of enemy equipment and struck at it. A tank with a new type of drone protection was also captured in a video from the Ukrainian military. It was a Russian T-72 with a metal canopy covering the top and side projections of the tank. However, it is unclear from the video whether the tank had additional protection in the form of mesh or something similar in the front and rear. This can be seen in this video: According to the photo, the main task of this structure is to protect against FPV strikes. Such a canopy can also protect against UAVs that drop ammunition on vehicles from above. Subsequently, the Russians published a video of how they were preparing this tank for an assault. The T-72 received a trapezoidal steel structure, which increased the vehicleβs dimensions, both in width and height. This tank was also equipped with a knife mine trawl. Ukrainian defenders used artillery, including cluster munitions, to defeat the Russian troops. FPV drones also destroyed enemy equipment. The UAVs with munitions attacked Russian infantry that had landed from an infantry fighting vehicle. According to the video, a Russian T-72 with a steel canopy and several other vehicles managed to escape to the invadersβ positions. It is not clear whether this tank suffered any damage. -

It's worth reading the comments of Slovaks and Hungarians on this thread in reaction to this pro-Russian candidate getting elected. They sound very similar to us talking about Republicans and the idiots who vote for them. Here's one example: It's kind of impressive if you think about it. An in the closed gay being openly against gay rights won the election by claiming the other candidate would send our soldiers to Ukraine (despite him being against it). He literally claimed he is not a product of marketing, while he exceeded the limit that he can legally spend on a presidential campaign, because third parties campaigned for him (yes it is against the law, but there's minimal punishment for it) I feel sick...im a slovak, but seriously fuck this country

Man, I totally understand and DO. NOT. ENVY. YOU. or the mods in the slightest. You'd have to live your entire life online to even begin to see everything. I'm mostly CR/DT/Lulz/Movies/Football/Futbol. Others have different browsing behaviors, and we can't keep up with everything. That's enough, though, to spot some of the worst actors for those who spend an unhealthy amount of time in this place.

I'm fairly positive Henderson Horns is Immortal. While he no longer comments much, he's made his presence known through neg reps sans participation. At the same time, he often will just give a simple laughing emoji now rather negging. To be clear, I'm not advocating his erasure, but I pointed him out to simply show that you perhaps don't have the pulse on Surly beyond the sports boards you think you have. Edit: If I recall correctly, Immortal/4Doors's story about his Whataburger being taken involved him leaving Tyler on his way home to Henderson. The same goes with BeardIP. Personally, I don't find him nearly the nuisance others do. Yeah, he's a conservative (whatever that means nowadays) who has a passion for private schooling and wants the State to subsidize him sending his kids to an "academy". He seems fairly self-aware and has a bit of a personality, and is fairly good-natured about shit even if most of the CR sees some of his views as veiled White Christian Nationalism. By contrast, any iteration of GRHorn should be immediately eradicated/scrubbed/wiped from this place. I don't know how shit works on your end of this software, but whatever ties you can find to GRHorn / Satoshi / Caponata / Immaculate Vibes / Humble Beast / Mullet Free / Boss Hogg should be looked into.

From a pragmatic perspective, we'd better hope that Ukraine can hold out for the very issue mentioned above. At this point, both Ukraine and Russia likely have the largest arsenals and more experience using UAVs in modern warfare than any other nation on Earth. At a minimum, we want Ukraine to remain viable so they can share their knowledge of drone warfare with us because, as dumb as the Russians are, they'll know how to use them better than our NATO allies and us. -
Imma posted some written rules when the new site was established -- likely buried really deep in this sub. The ones that I remember are: No death threats, death wishes, or telling another poster to kill themselves. No trolling. No doxxing. No NSFW content outside IPIHB. Then, there are reportable offenses itemized as additional specific no-nos. I think Imma also said if three users report a post as anti-LQBTq, it results in an auto-timeout for that poster.

Yep. I've long argued that he keeps at least two to three different accounts running simultaneously for the various forums on the board. I once asked a mod about permabanning. Other than the VPN issue, the mod responded that there were so many accounts tied to the IP address that he was concerned several "innocents" would get killed in the crossfire. It might just be that those innocents comprise his stock of reserve accounts. -
These are the credentials of a Texas Supreme Court Justice. Devine graduated in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He then joined Shell Oil in Houston, Texas and studied law at the South Texas College of Law in Downtown Houston. After earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1986, he went to work for Brown and Root.[3] Devine was an anti-abortion activist in the 1980s.[1] At a June 2012 rally, Devine said he had been arrested 37 times for protesting at abortion clinics.[1] In 2004, Devine was sued for his refusal to take down a painting of The Ten Commandments on display in his Harris County courtroom. The case drew national attention.[1] Devine and his wife continued a high-risk pregnancy for their seventh child even though the pregnancy was likely to cause the death of both the mother and the child, according to Devine. His wife survived the pregnancy but the child died an hour after birth.[1]

Yeah, well, having only ever lived in Texas and northern France, I can say with high confidence that my monkey brain wouldn't be able to process it either.

No, thank you. I'm not sure whether new construction in NYC has all those earthquake protections, but I'm pretty dang sure most of the older skyscrapers don't. And I certainly wouldn't want to be in one of those already wobbly super-skinnies.
