  1. You’re so right and I’m convinced. This will be exactly the same.
  2. Thanks Fozzz ... I appreciate the data. In an effort to respond in kind, I went digging for "advanced stats" hoping to find something to better explain what I think I saw last year. Here it is (I think): Batted balls: 51 Barrels: 2 Barrel %: 3.9 OK - so that's one thing. Then, I saw these two: Exit velocity: 90.7 Hard hit %: 45.1 So much for that theory. What I saw last year is a guy with a looping, slow swing that hardly ever made solid contact. Seems to be the case, but he still manages to hit the crap out of the ball. So, who knows? Only way to find out is more ABs.
  3. Just curious ... did anyone see major league at bats from Tucker last year that live up to that projection? I hope he makes the leap, but man ... I didn't see that with my eyes last year.
  4. Plant Supervisor: Most of our insulatin' work we contract out. But I can start you out as a general helper, a laborer, a gofer. You know what a gofer is, boy? Bud: Well, I suppose it means you go for things. [pause] Bud: Or it could mean you're an animal... Plant Supervisor: Yeah, well around here they're on the same level.
  5. Ed Taubensee ... now that's a name I've not heard in a long time.
  6. An errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill.
  7. I think it’s Bannon, not junior. Bit, yeah - all of that.
  8. With high crimes and misdemeanors in reach Congress must impeach
  9. They were given the order that Santiago is not to be touched.
  10. Jim Brown Jerry Rice Reggie White Tom Brady
  11. Nah man, I think it's Willie and he ran outta dope. Somebody get him a bong and some cheetos.
  12. Why would a team do that? The first part I get. But that 10 year deal seems it would have a really good chance to indeed hamstring the franchise, especially if the option is 100% guaranteed for the full term of years. Yikes. 5 for $200MM. Team option for 10 year deal after that, average salary of $25MM per year, only the first 5 years are guaranteed then year to year, no trade clause waived. Boom.
  13. Gee Gervin. He could still finger roll - just not as good as his old man.
  14. It ain’t easy hunting snatch in Houston suburbs.
  15. You wouldn't be surprised at how many times I deliver to a house to find keys in the lock or the car door standing wide open in the driveway. I'm not surprised, I guess. But, I am confounded by how one simply stops short of removing the key from the lock after completing the act of unlocking and opening the door. I once delivered a set of car and house keys to a woman at her house after finding them still in the mail box lock. You can imagine where it goes from here.
  16. Wife gets home late from the airport last night. This morning she’s scrambling around looking for her car keys. Me: Hopefully they’re not dangling from the front door lock. (Joking) Her: Don’t be ridiculous - help me look. Narrator: They were. All night long. 😬
  17. DDR seems a bit tired, but I think he may be hitting that "first year in the Spurs system" wall. His fatigue is exacerbating timid and uncertain play. I suspect he's feeling overwhelmed as Pop started throwing more plays and principals to the game plan and in game adjustments at him. Hopefully he'll find a happy medium between playing within the system and letting his playmaking and scoring instincts shine.
  18. Way out yonder in the land of space cotton Old times there are not forgotten I make joke, I make joke, I make joke Pee in your coke
  19. Great article. It will certainly seem strange to see him in another uniform, but I think it turned out best for both him and the Spurs. Loved that aside about Tony and Timmy talking before Parker shared his decision with Pop.
  20. Thanks - I realized that after my brain engaged. Have at the Todd!
  21. NVM - Jeff, Todd - who can keep them straight.
  22. I was thinking a re-creation of “pop up video” would work nicely.
