  1. True, but to be honest, I have no clue what anybody is listening to these day...I'm old. I just thought the lyrics this this particular piece would be apropos, given the state of our team over the past decade, and what expectations are for this year...that and that PHAT beat.
  2. Slight correction; Jimi was originally named Johnny Allen by his mother. His father was in the army, stationed in Louisiana at the time, and wouldn't get to see his son until he was discharged over two and a half years later. When he finally did return to Seattle, he didn't like the name Johnny Allen, so his name was changed to James Marshall when he was two. At least that's what I read in a Hendrix biography written by David Henderson.
  3. two quick outs...one more to go...let's get this done
  4. This team is unflappable...they cannot be flapped. 6-5 'Horns.
  5. Time for Cam to retake the team HR lead.
  6. That's the way to start it. Hodo leadoff double.

  8. Well, if you can't bunt, jack a two run homer.
  9. Did Swindell just call Nixon "Quadzilla"? 😆
  10. Kennedy is kind of fast
  11. It was, and it was a hell of a pitch to strike him out looking.
  12. Yeah, that looked like a "tie goes to the runner" deal. Surprised there wasn't a review.
  13. Witt seems to be on his game tonight. 1-2-3 inning. Bottom of six, 4-2 Texas.
  14. Is it just me, or does Kennedy resemble Animal Mother?
  15. Zubia has really improved his defense. That was a nice place to get the out at home.
  16. I'd be tempted to respond with something like, "Unless they attended one of the lesser schools in the State, they love their Longhorns."
  17. It's Michael, the Goth kid on South Park.
  18. Mr. Melendez is having himself quite the night.
  19. csb: Fall semester, 1977, I'm a junior in HS and Wayne Graham is my history teacher. He was pretty chill as a history teacher; as in it was pretty obvious that he really wasn't at school to teach history. He was also our baseball coach, and had our team winning district on a regular basis. Baseball was the only sport my high school was good at.
