  1. So many to choose from: Monterrey Pop - 1967 Stones - Madison Square Garden November 27, 1969 (Taped for Get Yer Ya Yas Out) Cream - Winterland Ballroom and/or Fillmore West 1968 Johnny Winter - Vulcan Gas Company, any time from 1968-1970, when he was still playing with Tommy Shannon and John Turner Led Zeppelin - Pretty much any show from 1969-1972 Willie - Any show at the Armadillo Frank Zappa - Ditto above for Willie
  2. I think that might go to Rice. Shut out a ranked Marshall team today.
  3. Thread title made me think of this:
  4. I don't know. I never watched Breaking Bad, (I know, I know...I was out of the country most of the time it was on, so never heard of it until it was almost finished) so I don't know what the Jimmy/Saul character was like in that show, but based just on what I've seen in BCS, I think you may be underestimating how much of a self-absorbed prick Jimmy/Saul may be. Then again, I might be wrong.
  5. To be fair, even Mack was 7-9 against OU. It just felt worse than it really was, because most of those 9 losses were complete ass rapings.
  6. The Popeye's commercials where they have random regular folk doing video reviews while eating their chicken sandwiches; especially the one with the guy who has a mouth full of food and his face all in the sandwich saying, "Oh baby, you put a SPELL on ME." Shut your pie hole you fuckin' knob. It's a freakin' chicken sandwich, not some life altering experience. Two slices of white bread bun, deep fried slab of chicken breast, mayo and maybe some pickle slices. Yeah, that sounds spell binding...moron. All told, this shouldn't make me ragey...but it does.
  7. You unwittingly self-diagnosed your problem. Cakewalks to unbeaten seasons do not exist...ever...for anyone.
  8. Premier is tonight, 10PM EDT; 9PMCDT on FXX. Two episodes back to back. I gave up on last season after a couple episodes. I hope this season returns to form.
  9. 4 pitches, 3 outs, game over, 9-1 Texas.
  10. Three up, three down for the 'Horns. 3 more outs, and this one's in the book.
  11. On to bottom of 8, still 9-1.
  12. Well, there goes the shut out. 9-1 in top of 8, one on and one out for ACU.
  13. I assume we'll still be able to enjoy the games with Lowell and the guys on LHN?
  14. Middle of 7th, still 9-0
  15. 'Horns escape a bases loaded jam in top of 6. Still 9-0.
  16. I think the home plate umpire wants to go home. He's calling some low strikes. On to 6th. Still 9-0.
  17. Bottom of 5th, still 9-0. If we score 1 more run, can we run rule them?
  18. Austin Wallace on to pitch for Texas. Strikes out first ACU batter.
  19. On to top of 5th. 9-0.
  20. Bloop single by Stehly scores 2. 9-0 Texas. Two on, no outs, Duplantier at bat.
  21. How many pitchers do they have left?
  22. Finally, a clean hit...single by Ardoin scores a run. 7-0 Texas in bottom of 4. Two on, no outs.
  23. Three up, three down in top of fourth. Nice play by Faltine to get third out. I really like our infield.
  24. Zubia strikes out with bases loaded, but Texas scores 4 in bottom of 3rd. 6-0 going into the fourth. This is going to be a long one if we don't run rule them.
  25. Walk to Duke Ellis loads the bases. New pitcher for ACU. 'Horns bat around this inning, Zubia up again.
