  1. There is no question that Trump/ism, Fox News, and the GOP have gravely damaged this country. You can't begin to address our current level of polarization and intolerance without accounting for their misdeeds.
  2. If I were to ever kill someone, it would definitely be Tucker Carlson. He better hope I don't snap and go postal.
  3. “I drowned them,” she said, claiming she did so “softly.” She added, “I hugged them and I kissed them and I was apologizing the whole time.” “Do I wish that I didn’t have to do that? Yes,” Carrillo said. “But I prefer them not being tortured and abused on a regular basis for the rest of their lives.”
  4. I like how the bounties are "fake news" just because the intelligence didn't have ironclad sourcing. I'm not famil with the federalist, but I'm going to go out on a limb and speculate that everything they publish would qualify as "fake news" under that definition.
  5. If I'm the next guy whom he robs - or worse - and I find out the cops recently had him detained as a fugitive and let him go due to bumblefuckery, I'd be pretty pissed at the cops. Just throwing that thought out there. I have no idea how risky it is to tase someone who just started moving in a car.
  6. Disparate results to be sure, but I don't see how you can conclude there was disparate treatment based on that video and the story. That would seem to require the cops having an opportunity to tase (or shoot) him and instead deciding to let him go. Apparently the perp rolled up the window on the cop, trapping him, and then hit him in the head with a hammer. I'm sure if the cop could have tased the guy he'd have loved doing so. It actually looks to me like he was grabbing on his belt for what I imagine was his gun.
  7. As for the topic of this thread, what a fucking mess. My initial thought was that it's inconceivable that anyone experienced with both, and where they kept them, could confuse a gun with a taser. But then I considered that on at least two occasions I've accidentally thrown my keys in the trash while retaining a piece of garbage. People do stupid shit, and that's probably exacerbated by the heat of the pertinent moment. That's not to say it's an excusable error, only that I find such an error conceivable. I must say I find it much more conceivable than the cop deciding to shoot Wright dead, but first deceptively yelling "taser," and then feigning surprise and regret after the shot. I'm not sure if that's the angle the prosecution is going to go for here, but looking at the statute, it seems like the only chance they have at a conviction. It's unfortunate that MN doesn't have a criminal statute covering this conduct. But seeing as they don't, I'm not sure why they charged her. I suspect that the anger in the community played significant role in that decision. If I'm right, that's rather disconcerting. The state should not be charging crimes the facts don't fit just because the masses want a conviction. That's not justice.
  8. It's not like she was the only person there. He yanks her back, someone else goes through and gets the bullet. And the yanker probably gets the shit beat out of him for his trouble. And who knows, maybe he gets killed, too. The deceased was obligated to yank her own ass back so the guy didn't feel compelled to shoot.
  9. Shouldn't have been shot at all, or just not shot to kill? The shooter was all that stood between the congress critters and an angry mob of thousands of people pushing towards them. The shooter didn't know she was unarmed. In some situations it's prudent to assume someone is armed. I submit this was a such a case. If you don't believe she should have been shot, what should the cop have done instead? If the chick gets through, many other fascists follow. And then what? Even assuming the cop had pepper spray or a taser, that's obviously not going to stop the mob. Probably the only thing that would've stopped the mob was what did stop them: gunfire.
  10. I think it's somewhere around Daneland.
  11. It sickens me that so many Americans are anti-immigration. It's as un-American as you can get, but these racist ass clowns think they're the real patriots. I normally don't tell people who complain about the status quo in America to get the fuck out, but this group really should. Tucker’s argument that they're diluting his voting power is hilariously dumb. You know what else dilutes your voting power even more than immigration? Procreation. Maybe you should rethink your opposition to abortion.
  12. Seems pretty likely that the enrichment is owing to decreased effectiveness.
  13. I don't think this is clear at all yet. Have you seen the latest from Israel about Pfizer and the South African variant?
  14. It's been pretty obvious to me for a while that the morons refusing the shot are going to fuck the rest of us over.
  15. Dipped in dog shit
  16. It's really depressing that we have those two assholes representing us in the Senate. Sometimes I hate this state.
  17. Did he give a reason for this? Other than being a cocksucker for sport as usual? This seems exceedingly arbitrary and petty even by congressional R standards.
  18. I have zero doubt that Gym's questioning was purely performative candy for his base. It's all the Rs do anymore.
  19. Then Fauci could have responded, "whenever you and your fellow Rs try responsible leadership for once and tell your people to get the fucking shot." That would have been awesome.
  20. I'd have been cool with him giving that answer today. Just dodging the questions was annoying.
  21. He's saying the OP and his ilk aren't criticizing the BLM lady because they're sincerely anti grift, rather they're simply exploiting any negative info they can find to diminish the greater movement for racial equality.
  22. That was really hard to watch. Both guys were pissing me off. There's no excuse for Fauci refusing to give us concrete thresholds for relaxing restrictions, neither is there any excuse for Gym being such a bitch about muh freedoms.
  23. I really wish he'd die. I've only ever said that about a handful of people, but I'm finally there with him. I don't really understand his take on immigration. Is he arguing that we should completely ban immigration? That we never should have allowed it? Does he think he's Native American?
  24. The end is hilarious and says it all about Tucker.
  25. There's nothing wrong with jerkoff socks, and I won't tolerate your using it as some kind of slur. I once had a jerkoff sock as a young lad, and it accomplished more in its short life than you ever will (despite you serving a lot of the same functions it did). It also never got negged for creating embarrassingly vapid threads on the internet. In other words, my jerkoff sock>>>@Kyle
