  1. This thread is like shadow boxing for the heavy weight title in your garage.
  2. Coaches don't like working with Jimbo because he eats all their adderall.
  3. The portal could have some good options. I think the best QBs are going to be talking to our staff before they even enter their names. That's probably what most of these guys are doing before they enter. Wonder who transfers from 'Bama after this weekend? That's where our ties are. Also, who's the new DB coach?
  4. I find it hard to care when their class is so good despite what we have seen on the field the past 4 years. Some things are just out of your control. I think our move to the SEC motivated their turbo boosters. Our class isn't bad as a foundation, but I would love to see some more high end playmakers.
  5. I was just trying to come up with a really aggressive overreaction for no reason.
  6. This seems pretty huge and far reaching. Tip of the hat to anyone that played a part in this. Have to imagine this will help hire support staff and coaches as this gives every recruiter on staff a "story to tell" to every recruit and portal player across the country. Talk about opening doors... this blows them open.
  7. You're looking at it wrong. If Mac Engel is writing this stuff, then Patterson probably wants a cush coordinator job close to Fort Worth. The only answer I have to your question is that he's old, most likely won't get a good P5 offer, and doesn't want to uproot his life to go coach at a G5.
  8. That is interesting. IT shot it down recently, but I'm starting to realize the paysites are pretty behind on coaching search info... unless Jeff Traylor is involved.
  9. Jimbo might be entering the roster shitshow portion of his tenure before winning a championship. What could go wrong?
  10. None of the WRs at A&M have 15 receptions, other than Smith. Holy hell. We had 4, and one of those quit early and the other was hurt.
  11. I was confused too. Demas is listed as a transfer possibility in that 247 article. TEXT: Demas’ career catch total after two years in College Station stands at 15. He’s been a bigger part of Texas A&M’s offense in Year 2. He’s caught all 15 of those passes and has even started four games. Were this the preseason, I’d mark Demas as a near lock to transfer. He was on heavy transfer portal watch last offseason but decided to stick it out. There’s a chance he’s sold on being a bigger part of the offense in 2022 with Haynes King, the QB in his 2020 class, set to return from injury. But it’s worth noting no receiver other than Anias Smith has more than 15 catches this year. Jimbo Fisher’s offense does not heavily feature wide receivers, and that does not go unnoticed by those in that room.
