  1. A lot of losing campaigns challenge results anyway if they're close but Trump will absolutely drag out this election. It can't possibly top 2016 in terms of how wild the election was but this will be so close.
  2. It's not just Mond, that offense doesn't fit the WR's at all. Jimbo has all the data he needs going back to FSU that his offense is not WR friendly and he refuses to adapt it.
  3. It may not be a full split, but the Biden admin shouldn't count on the progressive members' support 100% of the time. Biden will have to court the progressive as their own faction.
  4. Should we expect a future split? Biden will throw them the occasional bone but not much more. Healthcare will be the key fight between the two.
  5. Remember when Obama caught flack from conservatives when he told Russia they'd negotiate after the 2012 election? You won't see the same reaction except from maybe Romney.
  6. Fuck it, take all 3 RB's and run the diamond formation with JQJ.
  7. Kelly is getting a lot of play using the latter as a culture war. She's happy to insert herself in this discussion too.
  8. Why must we have a million articles about why Trump supporters continue to support Trump? With the recent surge of polling leaning Biden, there should be more articles about people who plan to switch, Indy's who picked a side, or even conservatives who are making the choice to not vote. The NYT in particular does this after every big Trump scandal, they'll go ask Trump supporters why after (insert shitty thing) these people keep supporting Trump. They've supported him for years! They're never going to change their minds!
  9. That's the part that's frustrating to me, and you. Nothing happens in this country unless you give govt money to some powerful industry. The ACA was like this, and covid relief bills were like this. Which is why significant change is really not possible.
  10. How Germany Saved Its Workforce From Unemployment While Spending Less Per Person Than the U.S. I'm not just posting this because of hindsight but this is how it should've been done in the US, especially with healthcare insurance tied to employment.
  11. I know what you mean, and that you're trying to see the forest here. However, the GOP has been like this my entire adult life. For me, and many people my age, nothing they do surprises us because it's expected for them to be shitty. If the divide is to be breached they need to extend an olive branch too. Until that happens, seeing the forest is moot.
  12. Wasn't there an old GOP conspiracy that Obama wouldn't hand over power? Something something every accusation.
  13. Temp checks at the gate just don't do much in this pandemic. I understand why they're being done. Your workplace/whatever ideally would have social distancing guidelines, mask enforcement, and regular testing. Otherwise a temp check is simply theater. Good luck to your family, NAIU.
  14. Proactive arrest! You can't make this stuff up.
  15. That's been a thing since that fake documentary Plandemic released.
  16. This guy isn't wrong on the culture war problems. The original war was over immigration and that really stuck with people (build the wall). Fighting over beans and mask usage while Americans are dying is absurd. Although it's funny this guy undermines his premise by suggesting Biden would be more harmful for democracy than a Republican presidency, much less Trump.
  17. Are you really that surprised? It's a test that he aced, of course it comes out the test is actually on a 3rd grade level.
  18. I don't really have a problem with presidents taking breaks or going golfing since being president is basically a 24/7 job. But he made it a point to not golf, or take as many vacations as Obama, during his campaign. The fact that Trump goes golfing at his own properties is a cherry on top of the hypocrisy.
  19. Bob Woodward is writing another behind the scenes book on Trump.
