  1. The Cover 3 podcast said this was probably the highest rated class of all time that followed a losing season.
  2. So A&M doesn't have it's top 2 targets signed (Stuart and the TN DT), the Georgia DB, the West Coast Guard, the new TE, or the LA RB. Maybe the bags got caught up in the mail?
  3. Depends what you mean. We generally credit Caccini with writing the first Arias (arie) in a book of songs, though the term had been floating around before that. The more common definition, a solo song in an operatic work, developed shortly afterward, with Orfeo by Monteverdi being a defining moment for the style, and the works of Gluck and Handel making significant impacts on the word. That was the question, right?
  4. I mean, aggy gonna aggy, but if you are going to try brag about academics at least do it in Starkville. I mean Florida is a much better school than A&M. Did they also put one up in Nashville and Atlanta? And the cleanest thing didn't seem to matter much in the end.
  5. I signed, but he feels like he is unwanted? How could that be? That's wild.
  6. Since we don't have shit to go on, I'm choosing to believe that the choice of "I is dotted and every T crossed in this recruitment" is an indication that we have made a substantial offer to him and are waiting on a response.
  7. Just seems like a kid playing his ha d best he can. He obviously wants to be back close to home. He names the P5 programs close to home as his destinations to get some leverage. No idea why he didn’t include OU. A&M says no, so he is getting all he can out of Tech. Trip, handshakes, etc. still can’t see how he would wind up a tech. It’s a bad business move, and everything about this kid says business is the prime objective.
  8. Agreed. He could starts a 50 plus programs next year. Why not go to a major program, or to a top 25 program, or program in a cool place. But he choses Tech? After choosing tOSU? It would be bizarre.
  9. A pant stripe would go a long way. It’s bad like color rush.
  10. I work with college kids everyday, they do some epically dumb shit. So maybe he goes to Tech. But why? They don’t have an OC, just a rumored one with way less of a track record than Sark. There is more money here, more exposure. There is more talent at Texas, even on a bad year. If things go so badly that Sark gets fired, the kid isn’t succeeding anyway. That’s true with McGuire. To me, kid bails on his Texas commitment cause OSU seems safer. Tech is way less safe than starting at Texas.
  11. Which two? The football board one, this one, the portal one, or the 2022 recruiting one. All are focused on Ewers right now.
  12. This was posted 18 hours ago. We’ve discussed Dodge already. Is there something new here?
  13. Nobody has the local info like SoonerInLondon.
  14. I think Tech is pushing this to make sure they get publicity with their new coaching search. McGuire has lots of connections. It helps raise their profile if they are getting pub as being on the level with Texas. I could be wrong, but Tech is way out of left field in this, and all the connections are hypotheticals if they hire a new coach, etc.
  15. This is some funny shit. Here are two possibilities, and a third random thing. Anyone can see how they must all be part of coordinated plan. It’s obvious. But maybe it won’t happen. Lol.
  16. Dude who skipped senior year of high schoolfor cash isn’t passing up starting at Texas for Tech.
  17. Not the same. Plenty of failed badass coordinators. See Muschamp, Herman, Pruitt, etc.
  18. I think that coaching kids that feel like they have a chip on their shoulder is very different than coaching ones that were 4/5 stars. Different motivation. Baylor is very different than Oklahoma, and who knows if Aranda has that skill set.
  19. He looked so out of it at the end of the season, I couldn’t believe that he wanted to come back. He got benched at the end of the season, right?
  20. Michigan much more physical. Wonder if that will last.
  21. More penalties and yards for us, again. I scrolled back and didn’t see the chart, but I believe that makes us 1-7 for the season.
  22. Was at CMU/EMU today. Can verify it was damn cold. It’s hard to throw the ball well up here. Winfield is gonna feel some pain blocking and getting hit up here.
  23. Feel like Aranda is making a giant mistake. I think Baylor takes a step back next year and the shine comes off. Gotta take your shot when you can, unless you don’t want it.
