  1. TCU loves taking unproductive former highly rated players from the portal
  2. I enjoy how highly he and Ian think of themselves from a schematic or strategic standpoint. I dunno if any of their paid content has any real traction behind it, but I can't blame them for trying to make money off a passion of theirs.
  3. The way for him to go is to continue building his brand on YT. They are leaving so much meat on the bone right now. Their content is too long for me to bother with, but they could use content based short-form, shorts, and other forms of social media to promote their channel. All that long form is content that can be clipped and reused throughout the internet to get more attention. Hopefully those subs convert into more views (AdSense), likes, superchats, and more favorable treatment in the algorithm.
  4. Sounds like IT's value just took a nosedive. They got a dollar out of me once, but I didn't really see the value. Gerry is fantastic though. Bobby is the OG. The others...meh. Joe Cook seems alright.
  5. He's making shit up. Brice really hasn't played defensive snaps for us outside of the Tech game.
  6. He doesn't. He's kinda quick, but looks normal speed-wise on film and apparently he ran an 11.44 100 as a freshman. Looks like a legit offer, but I can't imagine what value he provides over the other guys.
  7. I think the biggest challenge is that we have a lot of unproven people at WR. Even when taking Mitchell last cycle, we already had the alpha dog in Worthy. Golden has the talent, but he's taken a backseat the last two years. He had a chance to be the guy this year, but didn't really rise to the occasion. Juice Wells has that mentality, but I imagine they wanna see who else will become available. Mitchell didn't portal until late January. Jordan Addison left Pitt in May. Neyor was committed and enrolled at Tennessee and we still flipped him in late January. Gotta be patient.
  8. If Princely was a culture fit or didn't have the label as a loafer, he would definitely be a great addition to the defense. Tall and long with a good first step. His effort runs too hot and cold though.
  9. Next year is Skinner's 3rd year in CFB. I don't think that juice is worth the squeeze.
  10. Both of those guys are solid floor setting takes for the transfer cycle. Also sounds like Moore will be a good culture guy,
  11. Jason Whitlock is a POS, a known liar, and lacks morals in general. This could be a true story, and it wouldn't shock me, but it would take much better than Jason Whitlock saying it for me to find it credible.
  12. This guy is really really good. Ball skills for days, tough kid, shows really good route running potential.
  13. Brooks actually had success on Odunze as a true freshman last year. He hasn't really played to that level this year at all, but he should have the confidence to match up with him if needed.
  14. Not sure if he's a culture fit, but Princely is really good when he's putting forth good effort. Probably a mid day 3 guy if he heads to the draft. Great length and explosion at the Buck position.
  15. Ryner Swanson who went to BYU. Both ranked similarly. Washington looks more fluid than him.
  16. They'll have plenty of motivation once the media is finished deepthroating Penix and his Heisman trophy. Talking about how dominant Rome Odunze is, and how Washington's offense is just now getting healthy and Texas has no chance because we don't stop the pass.
  17. His post may have been in jest, but it seemed you missed it. We were ranked #1 in 3rd down defense this year. We gave up 3-10 on third down conversions last week. Georgia passed up because they held Bama to 3-13. Still elite.
  18. Would you believe it if I told you that we actually ran for more yards this year, despite losing the 8th overall pick in the NFL draft and another really good running back in Roschon Johnson (4th round NFL draft pick)? On top of that, we lost the Doak Walker front runner in game 10 and maintained our running production despite that? Things in the game done changed, hombre
  19. The Texas team you beat last year wasn't even the 2022 Texas team. Many key guys missing there. Quinn went from being a bus driver down the stretch of last year to being thrust into a starring role. Worthy was dinged up and had a broken hand. Even our 3rd string back was lightly used due to a sports hernia. This team is much improved from last year on both offense and defense, and the physicality on both lines will be one of the biggest differences you'll see. Increased team speed and talent at the skill positions as well. Improved special teams personnel and coaching. Texas needed the run last year to really get anything going offensively. This year, we are much more versatile in how we can win. Your best bet is more dropped passes or stolen possessions due to turnovers or penalties. Washington has also gotten better. Dillon Johnson is better than Wayne Talupapa, Penix is still Penix. Trice looks more explosive this year. Jabbar Muhammad (Big 12) is better than what y'all put out there last year. It's gonna come down to line play. Even if you guys have a small advantage there, I think we have enough to pull out the win as long as we protect the ball.
  20. It's all about alignment guys, you'll see. At least Herman won 13 games one season with a wide receiver at QB. Elko beat a Clemson team, at home, that ended up not being as good as expected. They beat NC State as well. Now he's taking his unproven bunch of coaches to the SEC West with massive and immediate expectations on all of them. I'm gonna stock up on a variety of Smartfood this offseason.
  21. He's more mobile than you think. I'd say he's somewhere between Sawyer Robertson and Behren Morton.
