  1. Seeing Hudson Card with a well-thrown ball percentage around 90 invalidates the whole thing. His game is ass incarnate.
  2. He enrolled early, he's just not ready to contribute yet.
  3. The standard is the standard. We celebrate Quinn for his contributions to Longhorn Nation. He could also become a victim of its restored expectations. Much like we got rid of Mack for failing to live up to the standards he helped to set. Hopefully he realizes that there is no future to save himself for if he doesn’t put it all out there for the rest of the season.
  4. You are severely underestimating our opponents if you think that version of Quinn is good enough to win this weekend, at Arkansas, or at A&M. Shit, Florida would be a dogfight. It’s not fair to everyone else on this team to ask them to carry him the rest of the way either. This isn’t a Conner vs Neto situation. We have an stronger idea of what Arch provides the offense.
  5. I’ve rewatched it twice now and even went through the Georgia homer’s film review because apparently I’m a glutton for punishment. It isn’t kind to Quinn at all. I hope he shows who he’s gonna be for the rest of the year against Vandy because this Jekyll and Hyde shit from him will get us beat again.
  6. With Quinn: 10-3 With Arch: 16-1 and a natty Go Horns!
  7. The running game could find more space to operate with Arch’s legs and better deep ball to account for. But you are right about us lacking an elite run game.
  8. Clemson got it done with true freshman Trevor Lawrence.
  9. He threw a ball to Helm where he stepped into the throw. It was only a 5 yard gain, but it was a decisive throw.
  10. On rewatch, the OL wasn’t that bad. There were multiple opportunities to get the ball out and he just didn’t pull the trigger. Arch looked more decisive, even if he wasn’t picking the best option on a given play. Cam and DJ Campbell had the worst games of the group
  11. Quinn threw bad picks against CSU and UTSA. And we all know he can help pressure find its way home. The biggest difference here is, there are no more training wheels for this guy. His potential doesn’t matter anymore, if he can’t get it done against Vandy, Arch will. Then Arch will be QB1 going into the bye.
  12. The biggest reason why people are blaming Quinn is because of where he should be as a QB at this point in his development. He looked indecisive, rattled, and unaware like this was his first year in the offense.
  13. Or they come out feeling the pressure of playing with increased expectations instead of playing spoiler
  14. @Burt Macklin Quinn didn’t play against MSU
  15. @Thatguy Just because you think you've done something, doesn't mean you've actually done that thing. LG Conner absorbed the initial blow in his pass set and eventually won the rep. Quinn didn't need to be 7 yards behind him to avoid that pressure. LT Banks reroutes his guy way around, giving Quinn more time to react and make a throw or buy time in the pocket. There are no other immediate threats. Quinn drops way back and his feet get stuck in quicksand. By the time he starts to remember to step up into the pocket, his feet are clipped by the guy Banks successfully blocked. I'm sure there are situations where Quinn was not to blame, but that was not one of them. Quinn was blamed for doing too much in his first two games, post-injury, he isn't doing nearly enough back there.
  16. Ha! Wow! Look at good QBs in the NFL and how they move in the pocket. Even NFL Bryce Young thinks Quinn had horrible pocket presence last night.
  17. I don't think Quinn will be able to bounce back by the end of the year and the OL isn't going to do enough to make him comfortable sitting in the pocket to play his style of ball. I'm not worried about Sark letting the team go as Quinn goes anymore, and I like Quinn when he's loose and confident. I really don't like Quinn when he has to think and make plays on the fly. Another issue is Quinn is probably right under 6'2 and has a side arm throwing motion, so stepping into the pocket makes it harder for him to see and easier for him to have his passes knocked down. Arch is taller, stronger, more elusive, but doesn't see the field as well as we've seen Quinn do at times. His short passes are also suspect at times. Arch is a playmaker though. All in all, if we can get steady, efficient, high level of execution Quinn then he's our guy. If not, then we should move on to the future.
  18. The punter was a big part of why the second half went the way it did
  19. The qbs had minimal time to throw and make their way through reads. When they provided time, Quinn either ran into pressure or made a throw. Tip of the cap to Georgia, the team will definitely be humbled by this.
  20. The protection sucks, but Quinn also has poor pocket presence
  21. 2026 RB Jonathan Hatton is the only one that makes sense
  22. 2022 guys, that TCU team last year was ass.
  23. The only big time game Quinn didn’t show up for was TCU in 2022. That was also a Sark wtf game. This team is far deeper on offense now. The OL is better than last year. Quinn is a better QB, if he goes down, we have a guy who is also more than capable of beating UGa. The defense gets pressure and sacks, the secondary can hold up in coverage now. We don’t need world beater Quinn here, he just needs to make the plays that are made available to him and we will win if everyone else plays to the standard.
  24. The more I look at Georgia this year, the more I believe that OU has a better defense than them. I personally believe we’ll show that we’re a better defense than both of them as well. Our run D seems to improve every week.
  25. Originally, I would have said this was house money and we’d see them again in the championship game. But now, we probably see Bama and Kalen DeBoer, so it’s a great time to get the UGa pelt on our wall before they fall off any further.
