  1. Braising some pork belly and grilling some st. louis style ribs tomorrow FIGHT!!!!
  2. Deandre Moore was a 5 star for much of the early part of the cycle while he was committed to OU. Eventually, he decommitted when Riley left. His final group of suitors was Texas, Georgia, and Louisville due to the Pierce Clarkson connect and big time offer. Very well regarded prospect.
  3. Great get. Good looking tape and baseline athleticism. Would still be nice to get one more nickel/corner type, but 4 dbs is pretty solid for this class.
  4. Finally found someone who didn’t sleep their way through o chem
  5. Taylen Green with a bad knee is a homeless man’s Logan Thomas. I think we’ll turn him over at least twice in this game.
  6. Ohio state definitely recruits guys who don’t pan out. Terrence Brooks would have been one of those had he gone there. Ryan Watts didn’t pan out up there and came here and started at his preferred position. Football IQ is definitely a talent. We’ve significantly upgraded in that department in the secondary. Not sure how this is even up for debate
  7. That 2021 team was warmed over dogshit and Arkansas was surprisingly good that year. Quinn generally plays well in hostile road environments. Yesterday, he played his best home game ever as a Longhorn. Arkansas doesn't have the same defense they had back then, Barry Odom is gone. We'll see what Petrino schemed up during their bye, but we should be a 14 pt road favorite and this game will get out of hand if Arkansas doesn't start fast before we settle in.
  8. Princely U. was a Longhorn commit before flipping to Florida. He of the glorious water volleyball spike in Jimbo's face gif.
  9. I think he was hurt. Played through it. I saw him grimacing a bit during the game, but the pain doesn’t seem to be impacting him as much as it did before. His footwork is continuing to improve as well. Quinn got hot toward the end of last season, hopefully that’s what we’re seeing here. We're unstoppable if we protect him and he sees the field well enough to make the plays available.
  10. Florida is really injured and uninspired, but Quinn looks really good and finding his confidence more and more. We should let Quinn get into a rhythm in the 2nd half and then put him on ice.
  11. Damieon George being out is a big blow for them.
  12. PM @jaaythegreat on IG or Twitter and I’m sure you could get it
  13. The biggest difference is that we have annihilated teams that don’t have enough offense to help their defense. Even with Lagway, I don’t see Florida doing enough on offense to keep their defense off the field. Now if the offense continues to gift the other team short fields…that’s a different story.
  14. Butler, despite being more slight, is a pretty physical blocker. Enjoyed his film, hope he stays bought in
  15. If he were a speedster, he would have seen the field more. He’s a really good route runner with good twitch, but not a burner. He also is a less than willing blocker due to his below average physicality overall. Weird to see him leave in the middle of a playoff run, but the writing was on the wall. He has a big personality, so maybe he was turning into a locker room cancer.
  16. Lagway isn’t good right now. Not even sure I’d call him a playmaker yet. On top of that, his mobility is severely limited if he plays this week. If Napier is smart, he punts Lagway this week to give him time to heal and maybe win one of the more doable tough games on the rest of their schedule.
  17. If anything, Marcel Reed will continue to regress this season as teams get more tape on him in this offense. He’s a very limited passer, more so than Michael Hawkins
  18. Yea, we were clearly not taking any chances in the second half at Michigan due to their offense being inept. Sark took the air out of the ball for the most part.
  19. Ohio State has no problem doing that.
  20. Not sure what Jerrin Thompson-esque angle you’re going for jimmyjazz. Being in the same company as Aidan Chiles and Hudson Card absolutely qualifies as terrible.
  21. Lagway with a really bad leg is not frightening at all. That would really impact both his ability to throw and run. No way he plays this game after having to sit out while having UGa on the ropes
  22. I don't think they do that label anymore, but his description is the guy we would love to see. "Good height with a plus frame. Pro-style QB with athleticism and mobility that qualify for a dual-threat label. Elite improvisational QB who can extend plays and remain accurate on the move. Throws with a smooth, easy delivery and varies arm angles as needed. Impressive velocity and spin rate really show on routes over the middle and down the seams. Field-stretching vertical arm strength to consistently hit big plays over the top. Also shows encouraging touch on timing patterns and downfield routes that require it. Good runner by design or scramble. Understands how to protect himself as a runner and minimize shots. Shows encouraging pocket presence and awareness. Senses pressure and knows how to react to it. Also willing to stand and deliver under duress and will take a big shot if it means hanging in there to make the necessary throw. Occasionally will take risks, but that also is part of what makes him so good. Release quickness is good in general but could still quicken a bit at times." Feels like they're describing Arch moreso than Quinn. Where is this QB now?
  23. Yea, if you’re gonna be a pure pocket passer, you better have great pocket presence and everyone else around you better know and do their assignments. If people are gonna play us to take away the deep stuff, it would be much easier to punish if Quinn were more willing/able to punish teams with his legs. Thankfully, Arch, KJ, and Dia can all punish teams pretty well with their legs. Trey can even run some once he gets going.
  24. I was just about to post this, he had high expectations like Joe Bergeron had high expectations
  25. Pettijohn turned after feeling like he was less important than dakorien Moore
