  1. OK, OK, we get it.
  2. Final run total will be going up on the stadium wall in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .
  3. Just ran out of time is all. LOLLOLLOLLOLLOL
  4. All the shots of those two are probably driving the ags nuts. Really hoping they'll ask Schloss about the Texas rumors when they interview him -- that'll drive aggy over the edge.
  5. Nice hit -- too bad he left his brain at the plate along with his bat. And with a runner on 3rd, too. Ay yi yi.
  6. It doesn't matter how many times I see the gomers do their yell practice shit, I always end up rolling my eyes and shaking my head. It's so BAD that the ridiculous nature of it simply can't be tempered by the passage of time or repetition.
  7. Definitely some parallels between AG and Fandango, which I think is a fine film, esp. for a first-time director on a major release.
  8. Fuck aggy. That is all.
  9. Michigan Lawmaker Says Arrest Involving Gun and Adult Dancer Was Second Amendment Advocacy https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2024/06/neil-friske-arrest-michigan-representative-gun-adult-dancer-stripper.html
  10. One of the interesting things about American Graffiti for me is that even though it was set in a year only 11 years before it was released (1962 vs. 1973), American culture had changed so much in that time span that the vibe of the movie was nostalgic even though it was set only about 10 years prior. If you made a movie today set in 2013, it wouldn't seem too different. But so much radical stuff occurred between 1962 and 1973 (e.g., the Vietnam War, the drug culture proliferation, the British Invasion, etc.) that 1962 seemed a long time ago even when AG was first released and it was nostalgic. Not only was AG a tribute to the car culture and "hangout" days, it was also about coming of age and the impending loss of innocence.
  11. Gotta love the ag crowing about A&M coaches rarely leaving for a bigger/better program. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the fact that by the time coaches are done crapping the bed at A&M, no program worth a damn wants to have anything to do with them.
  12. There's some discussion of it upthread.
  13. Lulz. The same thought crossed my mind, just as it always does whenever I see "enough" spelled that way.
  14. Pretty much says it all about the aggy psyche, doesn't it?
  15. How were the prices at their outlet store? I know you can find their knives a helluva lot cheaper onlline at places like Blade HQ, Amazon, etc. than on the Spyderco website, but was thinking that maybe the outlet store offers real bargains. Don't think I'd be able to get out of there without buying a few things like you did. And is that Enuff 2 in VG-10?
  16. Their "influence" is no big secret. Even in that context this is a puzzling and risky move -- that's my point.
  17. And for that, we will all be forever grateful.
  18. Yeah, I'm scratching my head over this one.
  19. I hope your team takes 'em to the woodshed.
  20. Penance for something you did wrong?
  21. Gotta tip my cap. The ags have a very good team this year.
  22. I'd like to take a flamethrower to the entire Cubs bullpen.
  23. C'mon, you know that they just ran out of time on each occasion.
