  7. $80 for that handle of Weller? Seems like it was half that in W Texas a year or so ago.
  8. The UL booster’s wife thought so.
  9. Amazing how many Texas highlights in the last 30 years were called by Musburger.
  10. How about flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct?
  11. You just look at Eastern Kentucky over there....
  12. This comment intrigues me as I will be in Flagstaff in late September. I googled up the local liquor stores and sure enough there’s a pic of a stack of ER. Will for sure give it a try while there.
  13. Glad you enjoyed the experience. Group cycling is fun. The right group with the right leadership won’t let you drop by yourself but will come back to get you and check on your wellbeing. I had this experience yesterday.
  14. I didn’t get to see the game so what was the score? I’ve read like six pages of this thread and no score ever mentioned. Too lazy to google.
  15. Building for the SEC.
  16. OK, thanks Cotton. Let's see how it works out for them.
  17. New Acura RDX for my wife procured over the weekend. It has lots of new features that her old Honda Odyssey didn’t have. She’s still in the discovery phase. It’s a nice medium vehicle.

    Getting old sucks

Re: Sitting to piss - In my advanced age and an enlarged prostate, the sitting position allows me to more fully drain my bladder and avoid any leakage later. Usually only in my own bathroom and not at work or out anywhere. So I got that going for me.
  19. I wonder about the current risk management and acceptance level of risk at NASA and how it's changed over time. There have been three high profile accidents with fatalities (Apollo 1, Challenger, Columbia) in the history of NASA, and NASA have become more risk averse over time. Clearly priorities and drivers have changed over time. We're not currently in a space race, at least not at the breakneck level that we were in the 60's, so there's not the pressure to win. I'm just not sure that they can get all the pieces of the Artemis program to the level of acceptable risk and cost to finish that mission, in a timeline that is acceptable to the taxpayers. The ISS will deorbit in the next decade or so, and I wonder about manned spaceflight after that. Risk, cost, time - pick two.
  20. Does fuel exhaustion not constitute gross negligence?
  21. Just bought my wife a brand new vehicle. Help me Jeebus.
  22. My wife’s (no pix) car had a tire with a slow leak so I took it in to Discount Tire and they replaced the tire under warranty. We were headed out of town that morning so wanted to make sure the tires were good. I picked up another nail on the way back to the house before we left. Had another replacement the same day.
  23. That’s our David Hamilton.
