  1. Yeah, we specifically say things like, "they chose to go all-in and outspend us on this guy. It's going to happen." We are certainly implying that all offers being equal, the recruits would choose Texas over A&M for any number of reasons. But at no point are we suggesting they're cheating. That's THEIR mindset, not ours. Which is ironically laughable, but here we are. But I don't go on other message boards like OB or IT or anything, so maybe those dudes are saying stupid shit?
  2. They're just such unbelievable... dorks. Anyway, projection is their thing, self-loathing is ours.
  3. If you see this guy, turn around and walk the other way. I hear he's a super spreader.
  4. Personally I'm partial to LO Pilz. But I'd be willing to go with, Gold is the best German style pilsner, in Austin.
  5. What a shitshow that was.
  6. Agree byes are stupid, I'd prefer to drop back down to 8 but we all know that ship has sailed, so 16 is where it needs to be.
  7. And also, if he weren't an obvious Russian shill. But I agree it would be amazing if he used his talents for good instead of evil so much of the time.
  8. Why would you think any NIL deals would be exempt from the clearinghouse?

    Burgers

Yup. It was the Lone Star Cafe back then. Bubba liked it.
  10. Secret Mountain Compound. You keep using that word...
  11. Boat thread is fine but you might get more traction on this one:

Yup it's good. My folks live a block away, the same house I grew up in, and I've met them there a couple of times. Killer deal.
  13. And if you can't find it, at least 47 good ags will happily give you instructions on how to get there!
  14. Well, they DO play Texas, and so does every other team in the top 9 not named Texas, so...
  15. Of course there's a plan. Trump International, Qeshm Island:
  16. I love how he's realistic about Texas either being as good as last year, or better, yet still predicts an ag victory in Austin. They just can't help themselves.
  17. Don't forget the UV light treatment, either ingested or inhaled.
  18. Sure there are but there are plenty of grown women who are worthless as well. I think this line of thinking has lost the script on what the real issues are for the younger generations, which as you and others have already pointed out, aren't exactly the same issues we faced at that age, and also aren't the same issues we're facing now as 40 and 50 year olds. One of my best friends lost his wife to cancer about 6 years ago, and after a year or two he started dating again. He's an engineering professional, financially stable, has two high school and college aged kids who are well adjusted and make good grades. His deceased wife was also a professional and took care of her own shit. After a couple of years he started dating again, and what he's found are primarily women who are divorced who can't afford their own lives, and can't and won't take care of themselves. Lots of gold-digging, lots of codepence. He's looking for someone that is independent and capable, like his wife was, and he's not finding it. But none of that's really at the core for the topic at hand.
  19. Indeed, and so is Distant Relatives That brisket was about perfect on Saturday, and the chicken quarter is fantastic. Those burnt end black eyed peas are one of the best sides in the entire BBQ-verse. Every time I visit, I always have to kick myself for not visiting more often.
  20. Earlier in the day while it still felt cool (relatively speaking of course) I was doing dark lagers, but by mid afternoon it was all pilsners. That was my pre-Father's Day brewery crawl. Great thing is my oldest is now 17 and she was our designated driver. Good times.
