2025 Game Week 5: Texas at Florida
Honestly, we probably beat Ohio State if not for the penalties.

2025 Game Week 5: Texas at Florida
Texas has never lost a game when the opponent didn't score.

CFB Week Six Preview: The Road to Atlanta Starts Here
My model favors Vandy a bit more. I'm wary of Vanderbilt's offense though. They haven't really been tested yet.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
He's wrong about this, though. In power/counter schemes RBs aren't taught to follow the lead blocker. You ride the butt of whichever OL is next to the targeted gap.

2025 Game Week 5: Texas at Florida
I'm not sure Florida is capable of scoring twice.

2025 CFB Polls/Rankings Thead
My model is so confused for sure. One of the things leading to inconsistency, I believe, is the end of Covid era and HUGE turnover across the board. The average P5 team only has 9 returning starters, normal is 13.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
It seems to me that Wingo might be tagged with option routes more often than other receivers and Manning just isn't on the same page as him yet. Just spinning theory - haven't noticed in games.

Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
A lot of teams do it now and defenses are ready for it. It pretty reliant on the misdirection working to be successful.

Game thread: Texas vs Sam Houston
Sam Houston is better than UTEP, they wouldn't even be the worst P4 team.

Texas vs UTEP - 3:15pm on SECN
That's not what happened, though. He was 2/3 for 45 yards then we threw only one non-3rd/4th pass over the next 25 plays (which was also a completion).

Texas vs UTEP - 3:15pm on SECN
We ran the ball 56 times. I can't get into Sark's head to know why, but we started the game basically hit 2 20-yard passes, then decided to run every play that wasn't 3rd and long after that.

Texas vs UTEP - 3:15pm on SECN
Feel like they gave UTEP the 1st there just for shits and giggles. The ball isn't even spotted where the ltg was.

Serious question -- Avg yards per play on bubble screens?
We have had several go for 30+ - including one for 75, so probably a lot higher than you think.

Is Amazon's War of the Worlds the worst movie ever made?
I read the books as a kid and randomly stumbled on this - not knowing what was. It's pretty terrible. Probably the worst adaptation and this book series has a long history of bad adaptations.
