    Tinnitus

I’ve had it for decades (I’m 67 now). I think shooting without protection and many loud concerts are the main reasons. Mine is a constant very high pitch in both ears. Not loud enough to keep me from sleeping. Several years ago I found the best-credentialed ENT I could turn up in the Houston Medical Center - she said it was my brain creating the simulated sound to fill in the frequencies that are missing. She said the was nothing that could be done about it.
  2. A year later and this comes out. If true, it would have been known within days of the incident. Neck Barr was seen visiting the front lines prior to the assault. I call bullshit on this noise.
  3. I had a a/c technician come over a couple of weeks ago who proudly announced that he wasn't vaccinated and wouldn't be getting vaccinated. I think the coming variants are going to impact these sorts.
  4. Armando's Queso flameado, Armando's Cut, and 2-3 margaritas makes for a nice evening.
  5. I had lunch at Mimsy's Craft Barbecue in Crockett, Texas today. It was damn good. I would slot the 5 alleged top places I've been as follows: (1) Mimsy's (2) Corkscrew (3) Truth (Y & Z) Pit Room and Pinkertons - both of these places are way inferior relative to Mimsy's, Corkscrew, and Truth, enough so that I'd never return to either place. http://www.mimsyscraftbbq.com/ 1979 S 5th St, Crockett, TX 75835 That is smoked queso poblano macaroni and cheese. The potato salad is of the same sort/class as what Nielsen's Deli on Richmond Ave. serves, only better.
  6. Plenty of rain tonight in the 77382 (west side of The Woodlands) accompanied by many off/on/off/on electricity events, each lasting just seconds. Entergy is an unreliable shit outfit.
  7. I would like to fight Hot Wheels and Dan Patrick, those two vs. me, in a Thunderdome match.
  8. Which suppressor did you go with?
  9. I’ve got to get a new garage ceiling (it’s sheetrock/drywall). I’ve had a really hard time locating a sheetrock/drywall contractor. if anyone knows of a contractor that they can recommend for this, I would sure appreciate it. Location is The Woodlands, TX 77382.
  10. Gunbroker ammo listings seemed to have improved over the last couple of months both in quantity and to a much lesser extent, prices. Prices are still way too damn beaucoup everywhere.
  11. hkparts.net has 12 round H&K Mark 23 magazines for $79.95 ea. https://hkparts.net/shop/pc/hk-pistol-parts-c15/mark-23-socom-c207/HK-Mark-23-Magazine-Parts-c434 I’ve got a Silencerco Osprey suppressor, it’s shape is pretty much the same as that of the pistol. It’s not very hard to disassemble and clean. https://silencerco.com/silencers/osprey/
  12. Got Moderna #2 yesterday. I’m dragging and achy 12 hours later, like a slightly milder version of my experience after #1. i got my shots through the Methgomery County Public Health Dept. contracted out to a local clinic, Lonestar in Conroe, workers were all EMS and firemen. Things were well organized with no glitches. They had proper setup, proper scale, for drive through at the Methgomery County Fairgrounds in Conroe. Meanwhile, St. Luke’s Hospital system had a fiasco as they overbooked and caused traffic gridlock in the area (45 & 242) and shut down at noon after just a couple of hours both Tuesday and Wednesday. They then cancelled for the rest of the week and said they would go at it again at a different location next week. Sounds like St Luke’s is incompetent - they’ve had months to figure out the logistics and blew it. I wonder if they caused the waste of any vaccine. You’ll never hear about this debacle in the news.
  13. Except Bond villains go out with a splash. This cunt will go out from a padlock in a gym sock to the dome after his cellie gets tired of taking him down the dirt to Beaumont.
  14. You can be sure of it. I’m sure he took many a pasting in his teens. Probably ate lunch by himself unless some bully extorted his lunch money. There’s that saying “If you want a friend, get a dog.” Like us, Snowflake the dog knows that Rafael is a piece of shit.
  15. The Tony Montana equation is amplified if the woman is a straight up escort in the first place.
  16. I saw this today at the Indian Springs/The Woodlands HEB - a truck and trailer loaded with 11 brand new rental outhouses. Because certain effete types are too good to piss in empty Ozarka water bottles and shit in a trashbag-lined 5 gallon bucket like I do. I think I'm going to start a competing business called "Big Dick Playah's Rentah Shittah". BigDickPlayah was my username on texags but I got permabanned after just two posts.
  17. I'm not a dog, but I will shit on Limbaugh's grave if given the opportunity. I'd consider it a warmup/practice for the $20 of partially digested Taco Bell I'm going to leave on dotards grave.
  18. @G650 - is the transit crew (home to race then back) the same as the race crew?
  19. Hot Wheels appointed all 3 Texas Public Utility Commissioners, the PUC regulates the ERCOT. The PUC commissioners and ERCOT board and executives are a pack of Hot Wheels nuthuggers and sycophants.
  20. I was dripping every indoor faucet and had the 3 exterior faucets covered. The 2 cold water faucets in my master bathroom froze off and the exterior faucet immediately opposite them froze off at the same time. I zip-tied my heat gun to a camera tripod and ran it straight at the exterior faucet with about an inch standoff. I had drops of water in about 10 minutes and full stream in about 20 minutes. The 2 interior faucets were running full stream again, and I increased the drip on them. This was all on the North wall in shade. The exterior faucet on the South wall, unshaded, also froze off, so I put the heat gun on it, but only ever got some sporadic drips from it. This evening I was making the rounds and when I got near the laundry/utility room I could hear a strange sound coming from the garage which was water dripping out of every sheetrock joint in the garage ceiling with lots coming out of the pull-down attic stairs. I shut the house main valve off and the MUD’s valve off and opened every faucet. The burst pipe is 5/8” OD copper running along the garage rafters and covered in black foam insulation. I estimate it flowed for about 15 minutes and I’d guess about 30 gallons or so flowed. So the garage ceiling is ruined and there’s already a little moisture getting on the top of the garage walls in a few spots - this will surely spread. Water doesn’t seem to have gotten beyond the garage, which is slightly isolated from the rest of the house. No personal property in the garage of any value seems to be affected. I got a claim going with my insurance company, and will call a few plumbers later and get on some lists. Later today I am probably going to cut the burst pipe upstream of the burst and sweat/solder a cap onto it and isolate the pipe from above the burst to the faucet from the rest of the plumbing and then carefully refill the house’s plumbing and see if I can get the water back online. If that works, it won’t matter much about being on long waiting lists for an adjuster, plumber, or general contractor. A licensed plumber can do his thing later. Otherwise, living here without water for days/weeks/months is untenable. This happened earlier: I got a five gallon bucket, a plastic trash bag, 2 3-foot lengths of 2x4, and a roll of toilet paper, dropped a deuce, sealed the bag, and set it outside. If you fall as far as I have, you want smooth lumber. tl,dr: (1) I am reduced to living like a savage. I piss outside and shit in a 5-gallon bucket. (2) La vida chupa, y luego te mueres.
  21. In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women.
  22. Power out on at 1535 in The Woodlands/77382. Was off for 10.5 hours. Fuck Entergy.
  23. Power out at 0500 in The Woodlands/77382. Fuck Entergy.
