At the end of football season and the dust clears and it is determined who will be the head football coach at Texas. This thread should be submitted to Ken Burns who will undoubtedly turn it into a six-part, 12-hour docuseries on PBS. It will of course be narrated by Peter Coyote.

Hollywood's biggest stars will voice the most notable posters in the thread as Burns pieces together this incredible piece of history in his usual first-class style.  The background music will naturally be provided by the numerous songs that were cited by posters of this memorizing story. Here are just some of the names that will voice the posts.

Clair Danes as Nicole44.

Tom Hanks as BurntEyes.

Jeff Daniels as WinningIsHard

Paul Giamatti as immamac

Many Patinkin as David Dennison.

Funding for this monumental project will be provided by The Better Angels Society and of course Luby's Restaurant Corporation.

I mean???? This wins a natty ? Maybe or they film a Netflix documentary about it and Coach O gets a public access show where he visits restaurants.

or we opt for a shooting star. Freeman. Someone without baggage who outcoached KIRBY far less talent on the field. Someone who is respected. Someone who will bring back real pride to Texas. Someone who will get the buy in of the team and change the culture.

or we could roll with crazy train of Kiffin. Sark and if PK BUT if PK wants out bring in a disgraced Belichick and his girlfriend and Austin will be lit as a mofo. And we will have a dynasty. A corrupt one but multiple MNCs.

so people either get on board with this corrupt team of badasses or fuck off defending sark with any seriousness at this point.

Kiffin doesn’t believe in doing a traditional spring game so the chances are slim for him to win a championship, and with sark and belichik running NFL styles offseasons, that staff might not win a game.

Nothing was going on with David Pierce & Schloss until it was.  There was a Texas poster (out of Houston)on Tigerdroppings who called that situation down to the day Schloss would get & accept CDC's offer.  He had just about every detail correct and called it a month or so before it went down.  Just luck I guess.  The same dude is chirping again about this deal & his story matches up with what Nicole & others here who are getting dusted off are saying.

Who knows, but perhaps, just as it may be premature to stick a fork in Sark's time on the 40 acres it may also be equally shortsighted to pretend that there's nothing to what these people are telling us.

I wrote off that Tigerdroppings poster back when the baseball stuff went down in my mind (I don't post there) the minute I read his stuff.  I was wrong.  A lot of other posters there, who sounded exactly like the dust off types here now, were wrong too.  This guy nailed it.

Surly history couldn't be rhyming here.  Surly...

Go to Tigerdroppings & search "Bigbopper".  I think that's the guy's username iirc.  SEC Rant is where you want to look over there.   I'm not heading back to dig it up.

Or just dust my post off.

Either way works for me.

Unless an upgrade is available, Debor/Lanning, with Lane all but signed at LSU. We may be stuck with Sark and short leash. Gives Herman’s last ride vibes if all this is the case.

While I hope he decides to leave if I had to bet on it he’s our coach till 2028. Either he flames out, the scandals come out or he does well enough that he leaves for the nfl.

A buddy who would know thinks sark is already gone though

Coaching college football is supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great. Coaches are like a box of chocolates. You never know what your going to get. I know what I have to do now. I have to keep breathing. Because tomorrow the sun will rise. Who knows what coach the tide could bring.

We lose to Arkansas today and the sun may not rise tomorrow.
