for years I was telling people the answer was 64 teams, reconfigured for some balance.  8 team divisions 4 conferences. 16 team playoff.  It was so obvious that you knew it wouldn't happen.

This is very close. But in my opinion conferences just need to go away completely and it becomes one "league." Perfect on eight, 8 team divisions. But they have to be balanced which means Texas and Oklahoma, Georgia and Alabama, Penn St and Ohio St probably need to be in separate divisions. And with a 5 game OOC schedule that would be easy to make as a permanent OOC rival ala SWC/BIG8.

A lot of the reason we are where we are is one league had so much more power cache than everyone else that it tipped the scales in their favor. We need balance divisions. Go TXHS style, top two from each division goes to the playoffs. No more subjectivity. No more penalty for great OOC matchups.

She kinda looks like Linda Evangelista. Would bang. Not now, God no. But then?

This was a decade after she quit competitive skating and was doing those traveling skating shows.

She looked much better when she was winning gold medals in the Olympics.

This bickering about which loss kept us out is silly.  Let's imagine a collection of road games against top 5 teams VS a collection of road games against teams barely in the top 40.  Which opponents are more likely in the long run to saddle us with losses (which are apparently the #1 criteria of the committee)?

you really missed an opportunity to start with "this bickering is pointless"

Did anyone bitch about the badass slate of games we got to watch?  I sure as fuck didn’t. I’d do it all over again, even knowing the outcome. Football fan should prioritize football watching over playoff manipulation.

I'm gonna be real with you— and yes I'm ashamed, I have no idea who she is. She's way outside my age gap. Like closer to 25-30 years my age. But she was hot in that photo, no doubt.

She looks to have amazing tits, or at one time did.

Even using BCS system we aren’t in

yes, the BCS heavily weighted the loss column as well due to pollsters/humans overweighting the loss column dramatically.  it was flawed also.  you can look at historical BCS outcomes and it is 95% by loss column especially for P5.  humans don't take SOS into account very much at all. in the BCS era the P5 conferences were basically looked at as equal with the SEC getting a boost.  G5 was had to be undefeated to even be considered most of the time.

the key is to minimize losses however you can as there is no real desire by humans to look at details beyond that.

Not only that, but the average voter can't even really do the eye test well.  All they know is final score.

I will say the BCS is better because you have a lot of people on the human side of the equation to minimize one persons bias(Bohls) v 13 people that have ridiculous bias.  It is better for breaking ties at the least.

what I would do is weight the computers 60% and the humans 40%.  I think it was 33/33/33 computers/AP/Coaches.
