So this is interestin'... Births are lower than they've been since the late 1970s

I read an article on the birth rate issue a month back.  The teen pregnancy rate has dropped significantly which is great, but the fertility rate among women 20-24 also took a major hit and the growth has been in the 35-39 and 40-44 populations.  This shift creates a few problems in that the delayed fertility means that instead of family generations being spaced 20-30 years apart they are shifting later.  This means that instead of having 3 generations in a 75 year span you only get 2 or less.  This compounds the population growth rate issue.

One whore was raised White Trash. Rough part of town. Parents in and out of prison for drug possession/trafficking. Girl is cute, but not a head turner. Ex-husband is an HVAC tech. She is dumber than a sack of hammers. I mean, not being able to find Texas on a map stupid.

Second wife was my niece's college roommate at OU. Absolute smoke show. Probably one of the top ten best looking women to ever come out of Granbury. This girl has had every STD known to man. Was even getting tested at the school clinic for HIV. Her ex-husband is a strikingly handsome young man that is probably in the same boat when it comes to STDs. I am pretty sure both have the Herp.

Do they want a cookie for financially supporting their kids, which is like the bare minimum in being a father?

I would laugh at any man who complained about paying child support. That's their responsibility.

I work in the chemical industry, and the number of men who have worked an extraordinary amount of overtime to afford their wife's desired lifestyle, only for her to file for divorce and get child support based on them pretty much working themselves to death is not insignificant. And then they are trapped into having to continue to work as much overtime as possible just to be able to pay child support. When the market invetitably goes to shit and overtime gets cut out they still have to somehow come up with the money to pay for the lifestyle that they provided when times were good. If our legal system was fair and balanced and weighed things equally, then I'd be right there with you, but the way it is currently set up isn't the ideal way that it exists in your mind.

If a father, while married, is working himself to death to give a certain lifestyle for his kids then he should continue that support. Of course he can choose to work less but why should the child suffer for that?

Once again if you don’t want to support a kid, the time to make that decision is before you have them.
