  1. Past hour
  2. Gabriel back and on the bench….now Timber is injured and Arsenal are having to play a MF at RB.
  3. This is something I was never able to figure out on mobile previously, and now I don't see a way to do it on desktop either. I was hoping to figure out how to do it on desktop and try and recreate that on the new mobile. On desktop, I have 2 bookmarks set for surly - threads I follow, and threads I don't. That way I can easily see the threads I give a shit about, and then click over to see if y'all have posted anything new and interesting after. Have never been able to do that on the phone. On mobile, how would I create a stream for "Content I Don't Follow"?
  4. If Whittingham can come in and make use of Michigan’s resources, he will get everything stabilized very quickly. I bet they get 5-8 good seasons out of him. When you are suddenly in the hunt for national titles, I can see how that could invigorate someone to stay locked in a few more seasons.
  5. Excuses are like assholes. Everybody has one
  6. Could it all go to shit? Sure. But the Muschamp hire is great and an awesome data point that we aren’t fucking around and we got this and understand the parameters of the game now. I’m going to choose to be gruntled and optimistic right now and save panic until at least 1/10/2026.
  7. He’d be like a coach on the field.
  8. Took my younger daughter to visit Kansas a few weeks ago. She fell in love with KU. All ready admitted and they gave her their top out of state merit which really helps. She has a sister at UT that is a 4th generation Longhorn on both sides of the family. Still waiting to hear from UT but is talking that KU might be #1 for her. Speech Pathology is her major and KU has a top 5 program. Lawrence was a really great small town. Anyone have kids or feedback on Kansas? Everyone that is have spoken with that went to KU or knows someone that went their has nothing but positive things to say about the school.
  9. @immamac - after the missile attack, maybe just change the title to Trump's War
  10. Much like those wetting their pants over the losses, I think anyone definitively claiming that this is all for the best are speaking too soon. We only have half of the necessary data points at this juncture, any concrete conclusions (for better or worse) about our 2026 roster cannot yet be drawn.
  11. Im excited about the Pop Tarts Bowl, that one is usually a banger and the Notre Dame schadenfreude has been excellent. Im actually going to the Texas Bowl, hopefully to watch the swamp kittens get their shit pushed in by a lowly Big 12 squad. Kicking the day off with a Pinstripe Bowl between preseason juggernauts will also be good. All in all, it’s going to be a really fun day of football.
  12. Imagine leaving Texas for BYU? LL was a decent LB. He made a few plays. Did he jump off the stat sheet? Did he make game changing plays? Was he All SEC? He has moved on and I wish him the best in the Big XII where he will probably be a star. He was never going to be that guy for us Was Wisner that dude? Where was he against Ohio State last season? What about this season? I will always appreciate Tre for his big games against OU and A&M. Is he worth what he wants? No. I wish him well People come and people go. The better your organization is, the higher the standards. Some players think they are bigger than the team and they aren’t. I for one like the ruthless nature of sitting down and letting players leave. Once they started getting paid, they became pros. If their feelings get hurt by that, go work as a greeter at a Walmart or join the chess team. You have to improve. If you can’t meet the standards and what it takes, there’s the door.
  13. I think everyone involved is just happy to have a caretaker coach come in and get the ship righted
  14. Maybe one day France will be 20 times safer than the US instead of only 19.
  15. I mean, I think as fans of we had to nominate someone from this board to be a GM we’d want it to be CTJ and that would be bc he’s at least a borderline sociopath, right? Anyone analytical that can rip the bandaid off. Every bit of attrition we’ve seen so far is ripping the band aid off and we will be better absolutely everywhere we’ve seen attrition as compared to if we decided to “pay them what they want”. DC is also a huge step that direction. I thought Sark could succeed bc he’s got a lot he does well and Texas has a lot of advantages. I never dreamed he’d make this kind of turn as a GM type 5 years in. It’s pretty exiting

  19. Given that he has no idea of the background (or even the names) of some of the people that he has pardoned recently, he may not even remember or know of the bill that he signed.

  21. It's a good thing App St. graduated to FBS in 2014 otherwise their FCS win % would have taken a hit.
