  1. Only if you arent adding it to your main trust though, I thought. The one shot or whatever I know was coming back withing a week.
  2. Both. Didn't get them removed from the NFA like they should be, but I'll take it. I wish they would have pulled the suppressors from the NFA at a minimum, but whatever. Don't even care so much about the stamp, it's the fucked up processing and time.
  3. I guess I never followed them outside of this thread. I personally didn't think they were a good deal at $250, so never checked back in after that. That sucks to hear about your boots. I have a pair of caiman lucchese that were several days/week wear boots that I put down for a while, then were uncomfortable af when I picked them back up after a year or so. They are currently at the cobbler getting new soles to see if that will fix it, but I'm not sure. If this doesn't fix them they are getting donated. I've never had a pair of boots stiffen up like that before. Just flat out uncomfortable.
  4. I'm not trying to be an asshole, but there are 1k Tecovas? There are a a half dozen considerably more reputable boot companies with exotics at that price point.
  5. I had an inkling but went with it anyway. How fast we fall.
  6. Agreed. But, and this is important, grammatically correct.
  7. Yeah. It was funny when you made fun of his education, specifically his writing skills, then ended your very next sentence in a preposition like an uneducated rtard.
  8. ...
  9. Probably. Who knows, the pubs may run someone who's not completely whacked out? Lot of crazy going on with them right now but have to believe there are still has to be some consultants out there than can convince them to reign this bullshit in a bit? I dunno.
  10. Eh. Partial credit. Maybe he should have stuck with an O/U, Obama didn't seem to have any issues with it. It was a photo op, like most politicians outdoors (cue Cruz fishing). Or, maybe all that natural testosterone flowing just caused his masculine fingers to fumble it all up. But he was tossed in there in haste, he's got 3 years to figure it out this time. Might have gotten wires crossed. I couldn't in good conscience vote for him, and I don't think he's switching parties anytime soon. But I think the pendulum is going to swing back hard, and someone who is very smart and doesn't have a overt dislike for America isn't the worst thing in the world.
  11. There's definitely a facet of them that as of late, seem to have taken some of our core ideals as an affront. Not really sure what's going on with that, but I figure those guys will fizzle out in the next few years. Or maybe we keep our bookend groups that completely ignore the foundation and ideals of the country, who knows. I think there is going to be a continued fight to see who can get their side to the end of their respective horseshoe.
  12. I don't think there is anyone, anywhere who questions his intelligence. Even Trumpers living in buttfuck Trumpville, USA. I don't have the slightest idea on his social thoughts, though. I know a lot of the progressives hated the McKinsey thing, so I figure he was somewhat down the center. But obviously the elephant in the room, he's gay, so one could assume he could easily be more socially liberal. I don't know. I'll do some studying up on him as the years get nearer '28, because I think a younger veteran with that intelligence is a shoe in. He'd beat Vance imo. He'd crush someone like Stephen Miller. Is this a joke? Progressives hate everything that was, and currently is, America. They'll continue to hate it until we are all the same shade of color, are unarmed, and have equalized bank accounts. Then they'll find something new about us to hate, I suppose. Probably silly, imaginary borders if I had to guess. Or the time honored classic of your lineage.
  13. You tell me. It was your party telling us how manly Walz was, and how important it was for him to have such a healthy type of masculinity. Remember, the avid sportsman that couldn't unload his shotgun. Dollars to donuts Pete's got him beat there, too. I want yall to run Pete because I think D's win big next few cycles and he seems like the only choice that doesn't outright hate America.
  14. Same. I remember it taking the air out the sails of a lot of Trumpers, too. Biden was DOA, Harris was new and energetic and (apparently) blowing thru TONS of money and was all over the place. Womp. Give me Pete 1000x over AOC. Guy is smarter than the field combined, and more masculine that Walz could ever pretend to be. Enjoying getting hulled out shouldn't preclude you from the presidency.
  15. It's just a tighter way to fish a mauler imo. Tighter like a mauler with more beads than stroke.
  16. Carmax was a PIA for us about 12 months ago when we sold wife's Yukon. Had perfect experience with Carvana, even let us have "within 1000 miles" to drive it until they came and picked it up at house. They offered about $3500 more on a 32 offer sell price (29 vs 32.5) Wonder if we just caught Carmax on a bad day. Only sell cars once or twice a decade so wont figure it out I reckon.
  17. carguru is helpful in determining the market and eventual purchase. Especially helpful if you really want to nail down a certain spec.
  18. Well, everyday since this January. Pretty new phenomenon, really.
  19. I know GM's will, so would assume Ford is the same. In 290k miles I only limped it due to DPF once, and that was after it went out (no longer receiving correct voltage to fire off) and it was after I towed our camper across the state and back. Even then the limp wasn't that bad. It would slowly build power but i could feather it up to 60+ mph (trying to get on highway to force a regen before I figured out the issue). That truck was not DEF so I don't know how that affects the process. I will say with my Ford, I will sometimes go 3 months without needed to add DEF, and sometimes it seems like I'm filling up every few weeks. No change in driving or towing. Not going to try real hard to figure it out as when it breaks, it'll get deleted.
  20. Shoes in the house is nasty af. But I do now wonder why they don't put them in the garage? I'm in Sugarland everyday, and I don't ever recall seeing shoes on the porch. I'd trade the erratic driving and shoes on front porch for a few really solid restaurants in a heartbeat. Way down the list of neighbors to be worried about. I think the multigenerational living in one house thing irks people (only complaint I've ever actually heard) and really I think most of that is from having a completely full driveway plus cars in the street type of deal.

    LBGTQ

Ana's position (as I understand his posts) does represent some type of side, incorrect or otherwise. Same as a host of other issues like abortion, assisted suicide, etc. etc. There is a side that will be correct, and one that will prove not to be. Me personally, I'm a big proponent of involving the parents in ALL care up to when they become adults, but I can understand how that can be an issue with subjects such as abortion, transitioning, etc. in certain households (RELIGOUS or hateful) I don't understand your statement, because I do not have strong, or even weak, feelings for any of it. I understand this is one of the biggest parts of your life (in general, not so much the young transitioning), but the last person with gender dysphoria (is this correct term?) I saw was when I was Christmas shopping last year. Just not something I see or that's on my mind outside of reading on this site, or conversating with...you. Anyways, tight lines @troph.

Maybe Surly shouldn't be added to the enshitification thread yet. Wish you wouldn't have posted this as I don't really have the time anymore. But generally fucking up your day even the slightest bit does truly make me happy, way down deep in the cockles of my heart. Imagine being you and still believing that Ana is the poster that sucks. Literally what I posted upthread.

*Lolzing and celebrating hypocrisy, sir. And Ana is far from a troll. He holds some very strong views on several subjects that go against the flow/politics if this board. But he's been here for 20(?) years and is routinely engaged with some of our most prolific posters in deep conversations. Lately, he seems to have held onto those convictions even a bit tighter, but being passionate isn't trolling. I'd would agree in regards to this thread. But it's being celebrated in at least the pope thread as well. Like I said above, if this as your typical animal+tobbacco level posting, it would be different. In any case, he'll take a week or more off and maybe come back and reengage, maybe not. I don't really care other than sometimes he has some spirited thoughts on subjects here.
