  1. That is the kind of shit lawyers salivate over. Thanks for the vid, new S class already on order.
  2. That was also a decade ago. And was making about 25% of current salary. So seems to be tracking with wages.
  3. Everything should be provided to us for free for existing!!1!1. Billionaires should pay for it all. I participate in 401k and other investments but will act like I don’t know how they work. There, I got your next 10 posts covered. Saved us all some time, so you can think harder about why nobody here (anywhere) wants to live in a little duplex next to duplex house people and drive shitbox cars and eat cheap food.
  4. We’ll fuck me, I’m joining the disgruntled yoots. I used to stop and get 5 or so on road trips. Easy to eat with one hand and cheap af. This is depressing.
  5. We aren’t shitting on humans. We are shitting on Americans and blowing the Finns. Yet every single chain sells $1 kids burgers. 4 justaburgers can hit the spot right quick for $5. We (me) choose that #2 and whatasize it, and that long predated Facebook and MySpace. I implore to you to digest post #81 and tell me about where profit falls into that conversation.
  6. Correct. And I was on the first or second page if that thread saying burn the guys down. Still, people killing people, then being held responsible for their act is how it’s supposed to work. I can’t speak to the asshole with an AK at low ready getting shot by an asshole hiding his piece in a car. Seems like FAFO applies well there, where it did not in Abery’s case. Elon…
  7. No. Anyone who can afford a 100k pickup can afford a 22k shitbox. We choose not to, as is our right. Neighbor just bought some new Nissan shitbox for his 16yo. 28k off the lot, they exist. You are insinuating that affordable vehicles don’t exist. Individuals make the decision to forgo thay option. Affordable homes are available. Not, you cannot find them in Beverly Hills, River oaks, or the park cities. They are building rows and rows of little pos houses 10 miles west of me right now, completely fucking up multi million dollar horse properties all around. Which is going to cause them to sale because they didn’t sign up to live next to the dregs, opening up more land for shitty little houses occupied by people who live in shitty little houses. The market exists for everyone.
  8. Oh I read Ahmaud Arbery. To which I directly replied. Any other cases involving two armed men of the same race in a emotionally charged situation from 4 states away wasnt considered.
  9. Where the murderers will die in prison for their crime? Wouldn’t that be our justice system functioning normally?
  10. And who’s fault is it for needing a pavement princess brodozer? Certainly not the manufacturer’s. They build sensible, affordable, and fuel efficient cars, too. They don’t sell in the quantities you think are correct, but who is to blame. Why would a for profit builder focus on shotgun houses when your money comes in the less costly additional footage? Not to mention that house is likely to get a solid loan from a solid buyer because news flash, people buying high end shit typically are more sorted than those that cannot. What we can all agree to is if that there is more money to be made there, it would be happening. This would be akin to you lowering your hourly rate, while working harder, to accommodate clients who are less likely to pay. Do you practice that way in your practice? Not a one off pro Bono shit you’ve done, have you designed your practice that way for the better good (those that can’t afford 650/hr attorney)?
  11. No one is minimizing their issues. But that’s what it is, their issue. If Brisket can find happiness with red beans and rice with the family, so can anyone. If someone need caviar to feel happy, but can’t gain it themselves, then we’re just scapegoating. Life is pretty pretty fucking good here.
  12. This is entirely on the individual. No one can force you to be satisfied you aren’t rich/successful/whatever goal you’ve set except yourself. Trying to place blame on you tubers or govt or whatever is just scapegoating. This is an individual problem.
  13. Damn didn’t you just get yours straight from Black algae last season?
  14. The GD stuff is nice. The family we camp With has one of their bigger 5th wheels, really nice.
  15. Nice color. And while having over 16 years of near flawless mechanical performance, it took Oklahoma sucking hard enough to suck the life out of my trans this weekend. Don’t know if I’m going to replace (think it might be electrical) or just put her out to pasture and spend 80k. Fucking Oklahoma.
  16. The Memorial Villages are up there too Yeah and would rather be there than a few of the others. West U was on the upper end of budget at the time we built, but was just a bit too much to feel comfortable. Hindsight 20/20 and all that. Womp.
  17. This is the way. They typically have a note that says you can’t pay off for X amount of months, but they’ve always accepted a payoff of balance after 30 days. So get the finance perks, wait 30 days, and stroke a check for the balance.
  18. Several of the ones I’ve seen that use a compressor were nowhere near that amount of time. Wonder what is going on with that.
  19. Just fine, like everyone else’s since the mid-late 00’s.
  20. I didn’t vote for Trump round 2 either. So I’m also partially to blame for this country going to shit.
  21. That told me exactly what I expected.
  22. Forgot about your questions, couldn’t edit. Yeah all those big trailers have brakes. Elec and elec over hyd. Typically run the gain between 5 and 6. Even unloaded, if youre at any speed and take the pressure off the pedal, my trucks starts slowing. If it’s not spooling, it’s already slowing. Magnified if towing, especially heavy or non aero.
  23. Not real heavy. I tow a 38’ 12k load every few weeks. ~22k in hay a dozen times a year. Half dozen loads of heifers thru the year. Second set trending towards only lasting me 100k even though I replaced them with supposed OEM pads/rotors, still mostly highway miles. I don’t race towards red lights (like my wife) or anywhere really, and the diesel is good at being a natural brake and is a smooth decel. First 105k was city miles, remainder lots of highway. Fwiw, my wife’s truck only seems to get about 75-100, on a good set. Sometimes she wears them down at 50k. I’m going to have to break down and do the parking break this time (it’s a bitch on GMs)
