We've got an actual legitimate college football playoff game tonight, and it's in the snow. ESPN2

Montana just went up 7-0 on Weber St halfway through the 2nd qtr.  Snow has lessened, but radar shows more on the way.

Football (actual) Championship Division I-AA.  16 teams, to 1 true title determined on the field.  Quarterfinals this week.

Games played on college campuses in December, something the Big Ten says is unpossible.  "Students would die in the cold!"

It seems to me that 1-aa players are tougher and can withstand the rigors of a true playoff

Don't forget high school football players. There are high school kids still playing football every weekend. God, I can't imagine how horrible that would be for FBS athletes.

the only way to keep the refs from fucking up a game is to stomp the everloving shit out of your opponent like SWTSU did during one of Wacker's two Real National Championships. semifinal game Bobcat stadium. Their opponent was some directional team from Michigan. they wore green bay packers copycat unis. Their coaches were so sure that they were going to win that they left their wives in frozen Michigan cause they were going to obliterate the Bobcats and the wives could come to the championship game the next week in Harligen the next week.

well every time the bobcats got the ball they basically took it to the house and it was a rout. during the game a db for swt who was the little brother of a guy I worked with hit one of their ballcarriers so hard that they stopped the game for 45 min to work on the unconcious guy and brought the ambulance on the field to haul him off. Legal hit no flag. kid had to stay in the hospital for a week and most of the opposing team's coaches stayed instead of going back and facing their pissed off wives.
