  1. That's what they said after Katie Lee. Seriously though, maybe it's just time to end the run. TOC is the place to be for a cooking focused season long competition anyway. Expand that field and/or give more spots to GGG type qualifiers to get in the newcomers/unknowns. We'll always have memories of Gail's gals to get us through the cold, lonely nights.
  2. The dude got double meat for his Whopper. Better choices left that decision making tree a long time ago.
  3. You forgot Southern Miss. and Kentucky/LSU and/or South Cackalacky/Florida depending on who's in the lead. No matter how you cut it, that's spells Omaha.
  4. Crikey. Even knowing what I was looking for, it still took a moment. Big ups to Wilding on the photo. Spectacular shot.
  5. Mysterious ways indeed. I had no plans to drink champagne when I awoke this morning.
  6. The masses put up with shit forever. The herd is passive and easily controlled. There will never be a great uprising of the people that destroys the power structure. That's the simplistic fantasies of a YA novel, not the real world. Society doesn't break down, it mutates.
  7. synonyms for gravitas dignity. gravity. sobriety. poise. ponderance. solemnity. austerity. formality. I mean, it's right there at #3. Uncouth youth do not define a culture.
  8. Read it again, aggy. The hundred years is up. Look in our eyes. Texas is the Captain now(again).
  9. Patience. It's only been a combined 11 years and 5 minutes at this point.
  10. Their team name is Cardinal. There is no official Stanford mascot, but they do have something to evoke the average student.
  11. We'll only truly know once the lights come on.
  12. She has the accent of an educated middie who moved to the down deep as a tween. It just sounds Swedishish.
  13. First pitch 8:35 EST per UM twitter.
  14. Just saw this reconvention on Squeeze Play. Didn't look promising from the body language.
  15. Those curious about the helmets' design and parent company can visit Tigeraire's website here. The Bayou-based business described its credo as follows. "In 2020 Tigeraire was founded with a simple mission: Make protective equipment more comfortable. We develop airflow products that help athletes, industrial workers, and military personnel stay cool, enabling them to increase their performance and productivity, while feeling much more comfortable." Indeed, the helmets- assuming they're approved for use during the season- would provide incredible comfort as the team battles scorching Southern heat in the coming year.
  16. Duh, Sooners didn't want to be there.
