  1. At least you don't have to drive out to Dodger stadium anymore.
  2. I missed Osaka, but enjoyed Kobe for a couple of days.
  3. Montrose - Revelry. They should also have the game with sound at Hay Merchant (1/2 price Houston beers when the local team is winning) Midtown - Beer Market Co. or Woodrows Downtown - I watched the game at BirdDog Saint Saturday and it wasn't bad. Flying Saucer is next door, but not really a sports bar. Christians Tailgate I don't think the bars will be too crowded tonight, but it might depend on the bar.
  4. That asshole stood me up. Never met me out for game 1.
  5. So does Tampa. They are a hockey city and don't care much for their baseball and football teams unless they are winning.
  6. There was a Buzbee representative with a setup at the National Night Out event last night in my Montrose neighborhood. She was there for about 45 minutes and left - not one person talked to her. Buzbee will be getting votes from Kingwood, Memorial, and River Oaks. Basically the Trump votes.
  7. Correa will be playing in the playoffs
  8. Oaxaca City is a great to visit. Hit the mezcal bars and perhaps a distillery. Eat mole. Visit Zona Arqueológica de Monte Albán. Walk around the city.
  9. Meant to say I think East Hampton only lasted a year. I'm sure FM Bar will do well.
  10. There will be a new location in Montrose soon. Where East Hampton Sandwich used to be. I think they last maybe a year

    Roy Orbison

The first I heard of him was when Van Halen sang Pretty Woman. I didn't know who Roy Orbison was at the time, but I thought it was a pretty cool song (looking back that song sucked). Then I got into the Traveling Wilburys and Roy died soon afterward. As I got older I listened to Roy Orbison more and I realized how talented he was with lyrics and how he sang with an amazing vocal range. To this day I think my favorite song is Crying. In Dreams is a close 2nd. Just listening to his lyrics you could tell he had heartbreak throughout his life. Before my time, but I didn't know he played at ACL in 1982. Maybe Armybrat saw him. It's on youtube. My favorites: Crying In Dreams It's Over Running Scared Only The Only Dream Anything you Want Only The Lonely You Got It Dream Baby
  12. Ha, I knew someone was going to call me out on that. Surprised it took this long.
  13. I expected to see the Chevy truck guy to pop out of nowhere
  14. I just signed a 6 month contract with Texans Energy for $.8/kWh. Well that is based 1000 kWh. I'm usually under 1000 kWh and that rate is $.85/kWh. Most rates I see look pretty good until I notice they are all priced at 2000 kWh, which suck because I will never use that.
  15. Correa needs to move to 3rd. His body isn't built for a SS. Mccullers needs to move to the bullpen and be a closer.
  16. Yeah, you want differential synchronization. Currently OneDrive will work with MS Office apps, but not with lager files.
  17. The Toasted Coconut is more of a bar than a restaurant, but they have very good food. Same owners as Nobie's
  18. It's 20+ years old. Buy a new fridge
  19. Yep, and a built in ad-blocker
  20. 90's Milo was great. So many good quotes
  21. I live on Fairview and Waugh. There are at least 10 bars and at 15 good places to eat within a 15 minute walk. Midtown and downtown are a short bike ride away.
  22. +rep for not calling it a hot water heater
  23. The Red Light District is way overrated these days. Just take a quick stroll and then go elsewhere.
  24. I'm in for a raffle ticket
