  1. Same. I've listened to 1 and 2 hundreds of times if not more. We're Ready and Cool the Engines were good on Third Stage.
  2. I know everyone like their own personalize home page on surly. The fluid view give you a pretty good representation of recent activity. You can select which forums you want to see. Example https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/index.php?forumId=17,2,3,4,5,24,9,10,22,30,23,29,12,15,16,18,31 You have to select Fluid View (arrow on left).
  3. Very possible. I don't know if anyone will ever unravel all of the R illegality. I'm sure they hold things over each other's heads. If you bust me, then you're going down too.
  4. Consolidated, impeachment hearings will focus all questions and answers in one place. The Ds can put together a list of established facts and misdeeds by Cheeto. They can repeat those over and over to the American people and impeach if they want.
  5. I'm still hoping for the midnight run to Russia on AF1 with the whole Trump klan, including SHS and all the rest. Never to return again.
  6. ^Yep. Not a debut but BC's Southern Harmony was also one of those that didn't sound like anything else at the time, imo.
  7. Agree. The R Senators def want to get re-elected, so staying behind Trump helps. But the spaghetti entanglements of the R Congressmen and the incriminating details have to be a big motivator. Friends of friends who know what you've done in the past. It would not be surprising if some Rs have let Trump in on the family secrets about where the bodies are buried, and they know he will burn it (and them) to the ground if they betray him.
  8. Onboard said Boston went off like a bomb in '76. GnR's Appetite was similar. I remember hearing guys talking about it in '87 as they were touring for the album, but it exploded in summer '88.
  9. This is a second bite at the apple for her. She dragged her feet 2 months ago when the report was released. Even though Mueller said nothing new, she could use this as a reset and get a mulligan on her first missed opportunity. Impeach now.
  10. Loved that Georgia Satellites album.

    The Cars

It's interesting to think about. In the best debut thread, somebody mentioned Hendrix's debut in '67. He def had his own sound. I personally find songs by The Cars more musically enjoyable.

  13. Siap. Thread from a Russian writer https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1133199099640074247.html That link has the pictures that go along with his comments/story.
  14. Mine would be Boston for many of the reasons tbone listed. I always liked that Scholz did it his way. The ridiculous vocals of Delp. I wish Scholz weren't such a perfectionist so that they might have produced more albums early in their careers. I like their second album as much as the debut. Both terrific albums. The second a little harder/louder. Onboard, REM's Murmur was great. Catapult is one of my favorite REM songs.
  15. ^ I posted some links to her page upthread. She now takes her daughter with her. https://www.surlyhorns.com/board/index.php?/topic/9040-chernobyl-hbo/&tab=comments#comment-1263572
  16. I have no doubt that we have the best military in the world. I don't ever want to see how much he would dumb down and handicap us if we got into WWIII.

    The Cars

Same here w the originality. Trying to think of other bands that had their own kind of unique sound...
