  13. Some interesting numbers…. During WW2 the US Armed Forces reached a total peak strength of almost 18,000,000 service members. The civilian & military bureaucracy inside the Pentagon numbered 33,000. That’s 1 paper shuffler per 545 service members. In 2024 the US Armed Forces total strength was 2,127,000. The civilian & military bureaucracy working inside the Pentagon numbered 23,000. That’s 1 computerized shuffler per 92 service members. Makes me wonder what the ratios are at all the US military installations.
