I’m no law prof, and I earned a C in crim law, but even I know that what Abbott called “jury nullification” isn’t how jury nullification actually works.
$100MM to each kid. Not sure what their ownership stake is, but some articles I've read have pegged it at 2.5%. They said in episode one they would each be getting about $2 Billion each. And that would mean the sales price would be around $80 Billion.
So that would mean the sales price would have to go up by 5% or so (~$4 Billion more) for them to each net another $100MM.
Am I the only one that actually watches on Sundays here?
All the posts positing that it would be Logan who kills the deal, and it’s actually Shiv because she’s pissed about divorce attorneys. What a turn.
When was the last time Texas had a 15 game winning streak? I know that we have 30+ game winning streaks in the 70s and 80s, but I can’t remember a winning streak this long in a while. We had a long one back in 2010 - it was like 20 or 21 games. Have we had one like that since that I’ve forgotten?
My wife caught this - in public (like when Tom was at the bar/on the phone with Shiv) he wasn't wearing his wedding ring. At home, he was.
Shows he's putting on a facade of honoring the "trial separation" in public, but in private he hasn't given up on the marriage.
Also, he called Shiv under the pretense of "honoring their agreement" to tell each other if they are seeing anyone, but in reality it was to tip off Shiv about the Pierce play. So he cares about her enough to give her the ability to make her own move (knowing how she feels about the election/democracy being under attack).
He still wants to be with her. Remains to be seen if she ever comes around to wanting to be with him.
