  1. Ha! I watch Bobby often because I find him the best of the bunch but holy shit, he always looks like he just rolled out of bed and forgot to put his teeth in.
  2. If the game goes as expected, you shouldn’t change your drinking plans.
  3. I was gonna recommend Freiheit, not many places like it around anymore. I saw Charlie Robison perform there once, good times.
  4. My son has been to the Coop and preordered a jersey but he was told they won’t have the game hats until at least April.
  5. If you’re not a fan of hers, you should be. She surprised my uncle at his 70th birthday party and sang a few of her favorites as a favor to my cousin who is also in the red dirt scene. She’s fantastic. As for Kristofferson, I think he needs to be mentioned as a songwriter with names like Townes Van Zandt and Willie. Guy Clark is my favorite but Kristofferson is right there.
  6. Holy Shit, and that’s w/o anybody really pushing him. That’s fast as fuck boi!
  7. All GA seats sold within 1 second again. Fuck these scalpers!
  8. Pancho, fuck I hate autocorrect.
  9. Taco Haven for breakfast is some good nostalgia food too. Poncho Villa plate for the win!
  10. And then there are the Drew Kelsons ( who ended up helping us win a NC but was mismanaged most of his career). Sometimes it’s the player but other times it’s the staff that can’t figure out where someone fits. This is why I mentioned Patterson, he’s a master at this. Maybe it works, maybe not but again, I’m intrigued.
  11. Saying I’m intrigued is far from hyping. Jesus Christ!
  12. I’m wondering if the Kitan Crawford move was influenced by Patterson. I have to say I am intrigued. At 5’11” 196, he has good size for the position, if he puts on another 10 lbs of good weight I could see him really being able to bring the wood from the safety spot.
  13. As misplaced as my anger probably seems, I can’t bring myself to root for the Titans or Texans. Fuck Bud Adams. I think bringing the Oilers name back would go a long way to healing old wounds but I doubt the Adams family would ever allow it. I loved double zero and Billy White Shoes. It’s so sad that Luv Ya Blue is gone because of that passive aggressive old fuck.
  14. Longhorn Cafe Big Juicy w/cheese, onion rings, iced tea. Damn those burgers never disappoint.
  15. I grew up in a rural area outside San Antonio. It’s a small German farming community. So many places in this movie remind me of my childhood. The Germans always had plenty of General Store/beer joint/ grocery stores all rolled into one, but they are a thing of the past for the most part. I used to go with my dad to many of these fine establishments as a kid and drink a Dr. Pepper out of a glass bottle while Dad shot the shit with the men at the bar drinking a regular Pearl. There was always a pool table and old men playing cards or dominoes. The place usually sold pickled pigs feet or boiled eggs in a jar as well as a fine selection of cheese/bologna next to a scale and a slicer. Good times. God I miss my old man, this movie brings all those memories back.
  16. This. Yes, we need a better inside presence. Yes, we could use a better penetrator at guard. Even with these weaknesses, we had wide open looks that we just missed and would have beaten a top 10 team if we had made some of them( TT will be top 10 next week).
  17. Harmon’s, fuck auto correct
  18. So I checked in with associates that have worked in that area for years. They all say everything on the menu is above average to very good ( I know, not much of a review). Interesting note: they claim that big stakes card games used to be held there back in the day.
  19. I haven’t been in a few years but Harmony’s in Cibolo was always pretty good.
  20. I’ll check with some firemen friends about La Chinita. It’s right around the corner from them.
  21. I used to work on the West side and some coworkers would pick up food at a place called Three Amigos Chinese Food. They had Mexican and Chinese. It looked like a run down convenience store so I was never brave enough to try it.
  22. Southeast side here, went to East Central and stayed in the area. I’ve got to be in the same district as Swayze’s mom. Tons of great food out here.
  23. What’s changed is that their easy win over South San just went away.
