  1. The fact that there are people out there in this day and age that don’t understand this is somewhat perplexing.
  2. You guys jest, but millennials are going to save the world once they consolidate all of the allowance money that they’ve been saving.
  3. Oh, oh, oh Sweet child o' mine Oh, oh, oh, oh Sweet love of mine Fuck it! I’m definitely in.
  4. And I think it's gonna be a long long time 'Till touch down brings me round again to find The earth is not as flat as I thought Oh no no no I'm a rocket man
  5. They’re here to stay unfortunately. More homeless = more government resources to grift off of. It’s a business now. Adler for instance is nothing more than a greedy sociopath. He and his commercial real estate swindling wife don’t give a single fuck about the homeless and the City of Austin. They’re getting the fuck out to greener pastures when his time in office expires.
  6. I’m not going to expose the name, but a major investment firm handling retirement funds in the area got hit with a ransomeware attack two or three years ago. Apparently someone foolishly opened a fishy email on their work computer out of curiosity.(Amazed that this still happens) They shut shit down for two or three days while IT worked it. I’m not privy to how it was handled, but there was some serious puckering going on.
  7. Most of their shit is of course scavenged, but people are also taking advantage of the homeless situation by dropping off old furniture and etc. We’ve witnessed it happening twice in the last couple of weeks at the corner of Westgate and 71 while stopped at the traffic light. I’m pretty sure that a lot of their furniture and shit in the Y area comes from the back ally to the Goodwill on Wm. Cannon and 71.
  8. I’m confident that there will be no corruption, skimming, kickbacks, and etc when considering the quality of the city leaders that Austin consistently votes for.
  9. That a fellow cop had to subdue the guy should be somewhat of an indicator that he was not just giving the boy what he “deserved”.
  10. The enforcement of that law in Austin is dictated on whether or not the offender has money that can be extracted in some way. A homeless person showing their junk to a minor while relieving themself is just not worth it. No joke.
  11. Yeah you often see t-bones into more reinforced caging at door level. That car was inverted and smashed at about head high. Probably the most vulnerable part of the cage.
  12. Definitely a positive. But when I raced Motocross we had a similar medical situation with a friend. Had a terrible wreck and then was hit by another rider as he was trying crawl off the track. He got hauled of to the hospital and the last thing we heard that night was that he was in stable condition with no life threatening injuries. The next morning we were devastated all over again after learning that he would be a paraplegic.
  13. It’s basically 20+ minutes of slapstick humor. Couldn’t get through the 1st episode when it came out. A couple weeks later I was in a different mood and gave it another shot. Expected little and was presently surprised at how fast it grew on me. A lot of the one-liners are random af, but still timed pretty good for the most part. I don’t think it’ll be too memorable in general, but it’s really not a bad show imo.
  14. This dude had the chance to burn this off with an admittance and apology. Doubling down on the racists chicanery was genius. Does this guy even have a reputable atty?
  15. Enjoying this for the part, but I don’t know about that Matthews cat. He just comes off as reckless and somewhat unabashed on “doing whatever it takes” to get from A to Z without considering the damage done in the middle. Some of his supervisors spoke as if they frequently had to put him in check as he brainstormed ways to bust all of these people as quick as possible. Gotta give him credit for his “get it done” work ethic though. I’d certainly want him on my side if I was in the business of chasing down leads. The way they worked over that one old guy in the undercover pre-reunion interview was pretty slick. How did that guy not have a heart attack?

  17. Damn, Maybe! That is a tragic story, no other way to put it. Glad you escaped that trap and defied the odds.
  18. True. “Man I remember when you could just go downtown and panhandle some good cash and then easily still a bike to get back to camp. Now you have to fight your way through a ton of panhandlers from all over that are doing the same thing. Not to mention the fact that a lot of the easy mark types are now avoiding downtown like the plague. I really miss old Austin.”
  19. Terrible that the family’s hopes were raised and then crushed again.
  20. When some good boys drunk on whiskey and wine took the Chevy to the levy.
