  1. And yeah - congrats on a heckuva career to CMH.
  2. Seriously. Hader handled it perfectly. No we haven’t met, yes we were put in contact and had a good chat. Next?
  3. I’m assuming JJ is the offensive coordinator if Slowik goes. And if the goal is ultimately getting a head coaching gig, would you want to be calling plays for Stroud or Carr?
  4. Yup. They laid an egg in this weather just like in the Jets game. I don’t get why we never really took any downfield shots other than the protection just wasn’t there. Still feels like we could have taken a couple of vertical shots down the field - this game and the Jets stick out as very bad days from the offense. Obviously both very good defenses to be fair. Nevertheless, hell of a season. Curious to see where Slowik ends up - I presume the next guy will fill in just fine. Which is crazy to say as a Texans fan.
  5. Man this is awesome news. They should name them co-closers and go based on lineup and situation.
  6. What should you do if you're attacked by a group of clowns?
  7. Good lord I’m grateful of the timing on this one. I’d hate to think what might be if he had a year to wreck CJ Stroud.
  8. I keep forgetting to contribute to the new year celebrity death list, but if he makes it through 2024 he is my #1 pick next year.
  9. No, his continued status as a white billionaire explains his comments as being mistreated by society due to being a white billionaire. The drugs don’t help, though.
  10. Never dreamt I’d be taking my 9 year old son to his first playoff game in 2024. Thought it would be more like 2042.
  11. I feel like busting out the police tracker app to check if there are any fugitives hiding under boats
  12. Correct, my mistake - hard to keep track of all of the injuries and he's back.
  13. Weird - as of an hour ago it looks like NB, Woods and Greenard are definitely out. Considering the injuries and the state of the team coming into this year, it’s remarkable we are in this position. If Stroud has a big game to win what is essentially a playoff game with Xavier Hutchinson and Metchie being his top receivers…😮‍💨 Dalton Schultz needs to have a big night. As do Jerry Hughes and Barnett. I’ve been down on Caserio and the whole franchise, but the combination of FA signings and the draft so far this year has been nothing short of remarkable. Obviously Stroud and Anderson, but also Dell, Rankins, Collins, Cashman, Ward, Schultz and some others have been great moves. Maybe he got lucky with Stroud, but I 100% think Anderson was worth the draft capital to move up - much bigger gamble on later picks (see K. Green, K. Johnson etc.) and he is a game changer and clear locker room leader as a rookie. The culture has done a 180. Regarding Hannah - I think she and Cal finally were able to get Janice to relent and get rid of the Baptist Church of Texan Day Saints. Easterby played to her extremely conservative and religious views and had her wrapped around his finger, at the expense of having a functional football franchise.
  14. Fuck the Adams family. That was awesome. My 9 year-old son obviously has no emotional connection, but I explained how disrespectful and trolling it was, and we were jumping around like idiots when Fairbairn’s kick went through. Great win.
  15. I saw this guy in downtown Houston today. I was pretty confused when I saw the jersey before seeing the back. Now I want to find him and shake his hand. Edit - just went back a page, is this you @Francisco 2.0 ? 🤔😂
  16. I’m listening to an interview between Kalas and Dana - I presume it was today but not sure. He is gushing about Caratini and is shitting on Maldonado by everything he’s saying. Im sure it’s confirmation bias but he seems to imply Maldy was not good at the things he’s raving about Caratini - especially framing and, ya know, being an MLB caliber catcher.
  17. The only reason Ohtani could propose something like this is because he makes $50mm + in annual revenue from endorsements. Obviously Bregman and Altuve can’t afford to do something so crazy.
  18. I was joking. Sorta. Of course they wanted FSU, who wouldn’t? They got turbo fucked, I’d be most pissed if I was on that defense. Who’s to say they couldn’t shut down Michigan’s offense, give their offense some short fields and win a game 16-13? I think it was a terribad decision. Especially with the escape job Bama had against Auburn, you can’t say they are some juggernaut team right now.
