  1. Yeah, I’m thinking some dirty MDMA with a hefty distribution of methamphetamine
  2. Shit. Would’ve come if I’d realized when it was. When I saw this thread I just assumed it was several weeks out
  3. Dunno how every school handles it, but you aren't supposed to be paying players until they're enrolled. If they're following the rules, then the kids are kinda stuck for at least a semester. Otherwise, they would have to try to get out of their enrollment which would mean they likely have to admit their own violations which could potentially hurt them as much or more than the school. If they aren't following the rules, and promising the kids X amount of money on a certain date (prior to enrollment), then that could provide an opportunity for the player to flip. But I would imagine even if such promises are in place, they'd be smart enough to make those first payments even if they lacked the funds to make all future payments.
  4. I walked out of my bedroom this morning in just my undies, walked to the half bath, left the door open, started peeing, ripped a good 6-7 second fart, finished up, walked out, and our cleaning lady was standing in the kitchen just giggling. A series of random thoughts passed through my brain, but in the end, I decided she fully has my trust now.
  5. Current President Biden, operating in his official capacity as President, places control of campaign funds in the hands of his current VP so that he can continue operating in his official capacity as President with fewer distractions. And as we know, if the President does it in the capacity of his job duties, the motive for doing so cannot be considered, and it can't be deemed illegal.
  6. Spent the week in Asheville getting rained on. Back home now, and seems like I brought it back with me. Y’all are welcome!
  7. The fuck you on about now? Are you suggesting anyone thought Kamala wasn’t going to stay as his VP? I’ve never once heard that, even from the dumbest of the dumb. Their campaign signs have had both of them on it the entire time. Your attempt at comparing the two tickets is asinine. And “overturning” an election that hasn’t even happened yet? He could’ve stayed in if he wanted to. He didn’t. He dropped out like probably hundreds, if not thousands, of candidates across the country’s history have done. “Democrats” didn’t overturn an election you disingenuous troll. Go get better talking points, clown
  8. At least if it’s Kamala, all those primary votes were technically for her also. Not like there’s a single Biden voter that felt 100% confident he would make it through a full term.
  9. I guess if youve ever been homeless, you’ve problem eaten much worse than a fresh steak cooked to the correct temperature, even if done in a toilet tank
  10. What about same place as last year with the hottie bartender?
  11. Here now on a whim (after rescheduling a trip to the Caymans due to events of the past week left us not wanting to be out of the country away from the kids). Anybody got new recs since pre-Covid?
  12. I obviously have no training in this regard, but surely the snipers (whether USSS or local PD) are not ever pointing their rifles directly at whomever they're protecting, right? That's not only extremely dangerous, but from a practical/procedural standpoint, it would allow for immediate recognition of a threat because the only gun ever pointed in the direction of the Principal would be a person representing a threat. I could understand not taking a shot if you weren't positive they were holding a rifle, like maybe it's a really long lens on a camera or something, but if you know it's a rifle I don't believe for one second that they aren't authorized to take the shot if both the sniper and their spotter are in agreement. Arguing otherwise means someone could be walking directly at the President, pointing a gun at him, and the USSS wouldn't do anything other than shield the President and wait for shots to be fired before neutralizing the threat.
  13. It was stated in a post from the alleged USSS sniper, and the post contained another statement that has been shown to be absolutely false (that the sniper was watching the kid adjust the scope on his rifle for several minutes). That's good enough for me to say "no, that's not a real thing."
  14. He obviously doesn’t ROYGBIV, bro
  15. Weird. First thing the cop said was for the dude to “come back here with me for a second.” Odd request for somebody that doesn’t have a warrant. But also, what a complete lack of awareness. No way you catch the guy after that kind of head start. But good thing dude didn’t have a gun or the cop would’ve been doneski.
  16. It would seem to me that the CEO of one of the largest arms manufacturers in the world would probably have a security detail comparable to the secret service. If they didn’t have one before, I’d imagine they all do now.
  17. FYI - that's only 10% off. Not complaining, just pointing it out for anybody else
  18. Is there a 2FA option that doesn't require us to open the app on our phone then type in a code? Other accounts I have with 2FA will let me approve from the app itself, rather than entering a code. Even better ones will have a popup notification on my phone immediately after I attempt to login and I just have to swipe approval, and the best ones have trusted locations (like, if I'm sitting at my desk at home, it usually automatically approves my login (if it doesn't detect my location, I just have to swipe), but if I'm in another part of the house it doesn't...so they've got the location thing narrowed down pretty damn tight).
  19. @MrRogue Need to place an order. Is there any current discount codes since freedom apparently expired?
  20. Gotdamnit. I’ve failed wordle 12 out of 611 times. Three of those have come in the last week. Wordle 1,117 X/6* ⬜🟨🟨⬜⬜ 🟨⬜⬜🟨🟩 🟨🟨⬜🟨🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩
  21. An advertising ban on 4 outlets?!? Woah, that'll teach em! Russia will surely stop now before they impose a ban on the major media outlets.
  22. How quickly do those panels recharge? Can you maintain power indefinitely (assuming it stays sunny and you limit your use to the essentials)? I'm assuming that's what the impact/self-powered stat is in reference to, but I figured you'd have a higher charge by now, although I guess I don't know how much sun you had after the storm passed yesterday.
  23. Based on past events around the state, I'm assuming very little incentive. Sure, they'll have to eventually get everything up and running again so they can start charging for power use, but they'll just increase the rates to make up for the repairs and all lost profits for when nobody was using electricity. And that's assuming they don't also have the ability to get repaid directly from the city for those repairs (which is still coming from tax payers)...so, lose-lose for the people. Win-win for the corporation. Hooray!
  24. Yeah, that's basically always been my fear. I know I'm way more likely to be swimming next to a potentially dangerous shark at the beach than in open water, but if there happens to be one near me out there, I think it's far more likely to see what I taste like.
