  1. The cuck truck's battery sure does suck 3 burned alive in a cybertruck after it popped a curb and got wedged between a wall and a tree. https://sfist.com/2024/11/27/three-dead-one-injured-in-early-morning-cybertruck-fire-in-piedmont/
  2. Stopped reading right there. You realize that's the sham organization that drafted the nazi's 2025 plan, I presume. Nothing they produce has any credibility.
  3. Not a car person but CA is the largest market in the US for EVs. That's an ingenious move by Newsome. sadDER I'll bet telling larger advertisers that ackshually, you own their twitter account will go over well. More concealing info over on twitter. Things not going well for Elonia. she followed me
  4. bluesky embeds here?
  5. We were looking for a better way to freeze soups and chili type things and found the souper cube. Made of silicone and comes with a cover. Allows you to squeeze out the frozen stuff right into a pot on the cooktop. Holiday gift idea for the one who loves to cook or just loves organization.
  6. Are you planning that? I have two trips involving Portugal coming up. From just before New Year, traveling to Paris and then to Porto. The point of the trip is a meeting in Porto, so arriving there the first full week of January. Now I'm trying to figure out if I can go from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, and then Bilbao, before catching a return flight. I booked a mileage deal so only half of is planned right now -- all flights and Paris and Porto hotel/airbnb stays booked. My goal is a lower-cost, off-season itinerary. If I can't make all that work, I may stay in Porto longer, or add in Lisbon, and just do some day trips. Drop off fees to take a rental car from Portugal to Spain one way are ridiculous right now. Plus dealing with connections through Madrid or LHR at the end of the journey just to get a flight back home seems than ideal. Have a bigger, splashier trip to Portugal in April all planned, flights booked, rez made. We're making a large loop around the country over a 3 week period. It's been a bit of a bear to plan. A. Arrival in Lisbon and transfer, directly to the Algarve - Vila Vita B. Transfer to the Alentejo Region - São Lourenço do Barrocal C. Transfer to The Vagar with stops through historical villages: (Monsanto; Idanha a Nova; Sortelha) D. Transfer to the Douro Valley - Six Senses Spa Hotel (stops in Marialva, Castelo Rodrigo along the way) E. Transfer to Porto, Maison Albar F. transfer to Lisbon - Ludovice Palace relevant article 10 Must-Visit Historic Villages in Portugal
  7. Gift idea says only 8 left. $154USD
  8. The senator from Ruzzia has thoughts.
  9. Washington Post reporter ‪Will Oremus‬ ‪@willoremus.com Gift link to my story on how social media has systematically devalued links for years — and how Bluesky is bucking that trend. https://wapo.st/3CHfmp6 or https://archive.ph/32kEj
  10. Bookmarks is probably up there with verification badges with the 2 items I've seen most requested. Bluesky users Hunter Walker and comfortablynumb created badges for starter packs of various journalists. https://bsky.app/profile/hunterw.bsky.social/post/3lbt6wkxckk22 Hunter Walker is a reporter for Talking Points Memo and has been individually verifying reporters and journalists
  11. The increase of allowed scholarships to 105 or whatever may increase the desirability of giving one to a kicker. I don't know shit, but I'd think it would.
  12. Does he still have his picks from last week up? I'd be interested to see 'em if you have a second.
  13. Elmo have thoughts about cameras and military hardware. Meanwhile I think that sound I hear is a Tesla on FSD running into a train.
  14. I don't have a kid but Japan seemed especially child friendly to me. It seems like a haven for kids and nerds. Their kids seemed esp well-mannered.
  15. Auburn's defense looked absolutely pathetic. They were running around with no clue about where to go. Not sure how they rank or are graded but it'd be interesting to see. Also their defense seemed to stop getting penetration at-will in the 2nd half. No stats, just an observation so not sure if true. I wonder what changed.
  16. Tuned in for a minute, in time to hear the "Alpha Paving" bro whine, "I'm tired of all these teams playing their best games against us. Auburn. South Carolina." Choking off the tears.
  17. Hell yeah! Gimme that FSD now, Elmo!
  18. I don't recall whether this has been discussed here before but apparently some coaches at some schools have been chattering to Ross Dellenger about being able to double their school's direct payments to athletes as part of the House/NIL settlement this year, as soon as it's finalized, due to a budgeting anomaly created by it being the first year of schools paying athletes directly.
  19. Sometimes you find some of the most interesting things on the local subreddit. This is the glory hole store in Fort Collins. This guy did a similar thread near the beginning of the pandemic but quickly deleted it so I'm sharing with you all, for the hell of it, and in case any of you boys need to get away from the family while you're in town. link in case it's still up and spoilered due to length www.reddit.com/r/FortCollins/comments/1gvgfyr/i_havent_worked_at_the_book_ranch_in_4_years_but/?sort=old
  20. I'm under the impression that the liability potential is their main hurdle. Waymo is already driverless and on the road, but not elmo.
  21. You didn't ask me but I'll try to pass along some of the things I've learned from my wife about cooking classes. Make sure everyone in your group is excited about it. More than anything it's a social occasion. When picking which cooking school you want to go to look for one that focuses on teaching techniques important to the cuisine rather than those that just market themselves as about cooking and consuming a fabulous meal. For as much as you'll pay for the cooking class, you can get a better meal from a top restaurant. Therefore, learning something that you wouldn't necessarily understand from reading a book is important in how rewarding the class is. A bonus is if the school includes a preliminary tour through a local market of the sort that professional chefs would shop at - that way you can learn some of the things they look for. For Paris, that's primarily the Bastille market but there are others.
