  1. Oldest kid went to two birthday parties last Saturday/Sunday. On Monday, my wife receives a text that one of the kids started running fever the night before and was going to the doctor. Turns out he had the flu. Tuesday afternoon my wife picks my daughter up from school and she says she doesn’t feel well. Checks temp and it’s 102. She goes to doc and tests negative for flu so they put her on preventative dose of tamiflu. She gets up Wednesday morning and still has fever-it’s the flu. Wednesday afternoon the 2 year old starts running fever. Yup it’s the flu (her second time to have it in a month). This shit needs to die in a fire and never come back. It will be a miracle if my wife and I make it through unscathed.

  3. Bitches deserve to get kicked and that’s what I’m here to do.
  4. Taylor Bible was a 4 star DT and the #11 DT in the country if I remember correctly. I always hoped Steve Edmond would do more while he was here. He did everything for Daingerfield (tight end, FG’s, kickoffs, linebacker). I don’t think he ever came off the field.
  5. The way he was tearing shit up, I would put the phone down and whip his ass. Especially if he put a hole in the Sheetrock with his elbow.
  6. My wife was helping my kindergartner with some math homework over the weekend. I’m sitting on the couch entertaining the two year old and I hear my wife tell my 5 year old: “I have a doctorate degree!” Apparently my wife was telling my daughter something she didn’t agree with so my wife had to lay down some degree smack.
  7. My five year old and two year old specialize in this shit. I can’t wait until they get old enough I can lock their asses outside.
  8. Little smokies and spicy sweet chili Doritos.
  9. You mean to tell me at their house they can heat up some pizza rolls and jump in the tub? I’m living all wrong.
  10. Excellent. I’m planning on attending a conference the first week of March and was hoping to get by there. You being stumbling distance will make it that much easier.
  11. I always tried to make it “Cut the Crack Jack” from shaggy.
  12. If I did the googles correctly, it appears that you are walking distance from George R Brown Convention Center. Is that a true statement?
  13. We carry a separate umbrella policy for my wife just in case something happens at work. It doesn’t cost a lot per year for the extra protection. On the subject of work conditions, she did work for a big retail chain and the hours were beyond shitty. She would not get home until after 9pm during the week and it was after 8 on Saturday and Sunday. They were extremely busy and it was constantly a complete clusterfuck. The best thing that ever happened was when I convinced her to look for another job. She ended up at a much smaller (regional) chain with only two pharmacists. They close at 4 on Saturdays and are closed on Sundays. She has a commute now, but she only works every other week. At the first it wasn’t anything for them to do 800-1000 per day. Now it’s a big day if they hit 125-150. I don’t have the words to describe the change in her.
  14. Everywhere you have a line coming off to a light, is that a splice point also? Also, that looks like a lot of lights. What size transformer do you have and have you calculated the total wattage for the lights? Edited to add: you may try breaking the splice and using marine grade shrink wrap instead of tape. That would give you more protection from water. I think you can pickup a box of difference sizes from amazon for $10-$15.
  15. Sad part is she probably sent her husband 15 text messages about what to do regarding the missing sticker. He finally broke down and told her to fucking go get it to get her out of his ass.
  16. Just out of curiosity, was the breaker still on for that circuit or had it tripped? As others have stated, I would wire nut everything together with a single wire for each back to the outlet. You seem pretty knowledgeable, but don’t be afraid to bring an electrician in to double check that circuit before you put it back in service.
  17. I bet she put the balloon weight in the trashcan instead of popping them. lol
  18. One other thing to try: string a 12ga wire between the outlets and see if you get power to the outlet. That will tell you if it is indeed the hot wire or not.
  19. Two operators at work were walking behind someone at the mill and talking about what a nice ass “she” had. They determined she had to be a volleyball player because of how nice her ass was. When they finally got to see the face, they quickly realized they had been following a dude with long hair around and looking at his ass. We still call him volleyball.
  20. Are you using the screw terminals or the stabs in the back? Any chance there is a splice in between the two receptacles? Based on the detail in your write up, I assume there is no chance it’s on a GFCI?
  21. I’m an engineer, but I considered law school.
